This cozy home is nestled in a peaceful residential neighborhood. While some are renters just like you, others are full time residents, so please be mindful.

Welcome to our home in the beautiful Shenandoah Mountains! Nestled in nature, our cabin offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by forest, fresh air, and stunning views--but also comes with a few natural neighbors.

Because we are located in a mountain ecosystem, its normal to encounter insects, spiders, and other critters from time to time, especially during warmer months. While we do our best to keep the cabin sealed and professionally treated, nature sometime sneaks in. You may see moths, ants, stinkbugs, and spiders. Outside it is not uncommon to hear owls, spot deer, or even see a black bear. We also have several species of snakes including cottonmouth which are poisonous.

We recommend keeping food sealed, doors closed, and porch lights off at night to minimize insect activity. We've provided citronella candles and bug spray to make your stay more comfortable.

We believe these natural elements are apart of what makes staying in the Shenandoah's special. If you are someone who enjoys nature (with all its quirks), you will love it here!

We do have three ring cameras on the property. One is by the front door. The other is on the back deck but looks out onto the driveway. The third camera is on the side of the house and looks out onto the back gate.
