Unlike most houses in Myoko that rely on unvented kerosene heaters, we have invested in high-spec heating for your comfort and health:

Vented City Gas Heating: A massive central unit that provides deep warmth without the kerosene smell or dry air common in other lodges.

Individual Climate Control: Split-cycle air cons in every bedroom so you can set your own perfect sleeping temperature.

Heated Bathroom Tiles: To keep your toes warm while you enjoy the aromatic Hinoki cypress bath.

🚗 Stress-Free Parking

Parking in Myoko can be difficult, but not here. We have a large, flat driveway with space for at least three vehicles. No cramped spaces or steep icy hills to navigate—just easy, on-site parking out front.

Located in the authentic village of Sekigawa, Genki House offers a quiet retreat away from the noisy aprés-ski crowds.

Resort Access: 5–7 mins to Akakura Onsen/Kanko, 10 mins to Suginohara, and 15 mins to Ikenotaira.

Station: Just 3 mins by car or a 15-min walk to Myoko-Kogen Station.

Winter Requirement: A 4WD with snow tires is MANDATORY to safely navigate the area.

Guest access
To reach the house from Tokyo by train, take the Hokuriku Shinkansen (bullet train) from Tokyo Station to Nagano Station, which takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. From Nagano Station, transfer to the local Shinano Railway and travel towards Myoko Kogen Station, a journey of about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Myoko Kogen Station, our house is only a 5-minute drive away and offers ample parking for multiple vehicles.

To make the most out of your trip and make getting around easy, having your own car is recommended. A 4WD with snow tires is essential during winter months due to heavy snowfall and icy conditions. The host is not responsible for guests who arrive in inadequate vehicles.
