Nestled within the heart of the Ligurian wine region, this 1st floor apartment offers cosy flexibility for a couple, or family of 4. Located in the wine-making village of Ranzo and just a short drive from the coast, this authentic retreat lets you enjoy a holiday at your own pace.

The holiday apartment is a perfect summer accommodation for guests who are passionate about biking, motorcycling, hiking etc. and is located halfway between the Ligurian sea and the hills. Inside, the large apartment is reached via a flight of 25 steps from the ground floor. Once the 1st floor accommodation is reached, a romantic ambience with exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings greets guests. The inviting open plan living room is equipped with a double sofa bed, a small TV, a modern kitchenette, dining area and access to a private balcony. A main double bedroom with beamed ceiling and Juliet balcony offers a peaceful couple-friendly room, whilst the modern shower room and laundry facilities offer added convenience whilst away.

The 2-storey residence features additional holiday apartments, in case your group size is larger (please enquire after the following apartments ID 3997, 4178 and 4177). From its charming setting in Ranzo, a host of local amenities are within a 1-2 minutes’ walk away. The owner’s own wine cellars are also open for visiting guests, making this apartment the ideal choice for savouring a unique wine-based holiday!

Location

The residence is located along ‘Via Umberto I’, in the hillside Ligurian village of Ranzo. Guests are placed 1-2 minutes’ walk away from an authentic Italian ‘Ristorante’ and minimarket, whilst just 5-8 minutes’ drive away, the owner's wine cellars are open to visiting guests.

Just 24-28 minutes’ drive away, guests will reach the Ligurian coast (the Italian Riviera), which is home to the famous buzzing beach resorts of Alassio and Albenga. Other local regional highlights include Garlenda golf club (17 minutes’ drive), Le Caravelle Aquatic Park (30 minutes’ drive) and the historical visitor sites and beaches of Albenga (28 minutes’ drive). Further along the coast in Borgo Verezzi, the visitor highlights of the Toirano Caves (home to prehistoric paintings), Castel Gavone, Grotte di Borgio Verezzi (featuring a labyrinth of unique underground lakes and caves) and the Santuario di Santa Lucia can all be explored (within 40 minutes’ drive away).
