The house was completely renovated in June 2018 and welcomes you with a modern and friendly design that will make you feel at home straight away. Here you can spend your holiday in an individual and informal ambience without sacrificing comfort. It is suitable for a family holiday as well as a sports or relaxation holiday with a variety of activities. This holiday home is in a quiet location in a holiday village on the outskirts of Zandt. This puts you in the immediate vicinity of hiking and cycling trails, children's playgrounds and a football pitch.
In front of the living and dining area is the garden with terrace. There you can enjoy the sun and a wonderful view of the surrounding hills of the Bavarian Forest from breakfast until the early evening. There is a car park for one car directly in front of the house.
The holiday home has a living and dining area with an open-plan kitchen, a shower room and hallway with a built-in infrared sauna on the ground floor. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom and WC. The cosily furnished living room offers a seating area, as well as a modern dining area with six seats, a sideboard with a satellite TV hanging on the wall above and free, in-house WLAN access. The comfortable sofa bed, 160 x 200 cm, in the living room offers space for two more people, limited, so that the house can be used by up to six guests. After a ride on the house's own sledge in winter, you can spend a particularly cosy winter evening in front of the Swedish stove, watching and listening to the crackling fire from the sofa. The wood for the Swedish stove, including kindling, can be conveniently obtained free of charge from the property management. The modern and fully equipped kitchen offers a hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and many cooking utensils, so that you can cater for yourself. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a washbasin with mirror and shelf, a WC and a window. On cooler days, underfloor heating provides cosy warmth throughout the ground floor. Your children can use the floor in the living area as a play area, while the sweat-inducing warmth of an infrared sauna in the hallway ensures your own relaxation. On the way between the infrared sauna and the bathroom, with underfloor heating in the hallway and the shower, you are guaranteed to keep your feet warm thanks to the pleasantly tempered floor. One bedroom on the upper floor has a double bed, each 80 x 200 cm, the other has two separate beds, each 90 x 190 cm. All beds are fitted with modern box-spring mattresses. There is also an adjoining washroom and WC for the bedrooms.
The municipality of Zandt is located in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park. The low mountain range landscape is ideal for hiking and cycling. You also have the opportunity to go skiing, swimming, canoeing, climbing etc. In the village you will find catering and everything you need for self-catering. Further shopping facilities and restaurants can be found in the town of Cham, approx. 10 km away, or in Bad Kötzting, approx. 8 km away. The latter offers, for example, a thermal bath and a new state-run casino. Zandt is an ideal starting point for sporting activities and for visiting nature parks, leisure parks, spas, museums, festivals etc. This holiday home is ideal for four people, or to a lesser extent for six people. It is suitable for a family holiday, a relaxing holiday or a sports holiday, e.g. hiking, mountain biking, road biking, skiing, swimming, canoeing, climbing.
A high chair and a cot are available for your baby/toddler, so you can save yourself a lot of bulky luggage on arrival and departure. You are also welcome to book a linen package (bed linen and towels) from the landlord for a small fee. This will make packing your suitcase easier and you will have less laundry after your holiday. Arrival is usually possible from 16:00, departure until 9:30, or by arrangement. The rental price includes the costs for electricity, heating and water.
