Cozy modern family build in the woods w/ hot tub! - Lake Ariel

This is our family's getaway in the Hideout. We've got a beautiful covered porch for outdoor dining or enjoying a drink while looking into the Poconos woods.

Since we often use this home ourselves, you'll find all the things you need for cooking a meal or playing games with your friends and family.

The house is filled with light from the huge windows, but also is made from insulated concrete forms which means that it's always comfortable inside regardless of the outside temperature.

Besides having radiant floor heating throughout, we've got 2 mini-split air conditioning units to cool it down as needed, and a fireplace to keep you cozy in the colder months. The on-demand water heater ensures that you'll always have hot water.

The private hot tub is just a short walk out the front door down a stone path that we've created to ensure your privacy.

We'd consider ourselves very laid back when it comes to families and pets, and as such the property is going to have its bumps and bruises, and some of the pieces in our games might not always have been put away in the right place. Our kids keep their ski and snowboard equipment there, and we can unlock it for you if you'd like to try it out, or we can lock it away if you prefer. In addition, we have tools on the property for helping trim branches or fix things when they break, and we didn't feel like they needed to be locked up as we consider ourselves to be pretty trusting. But if you're traveling with little kids or a pet that likes to chew on anything they find, this might not be the place for you.

If this is a last minute booking (less than 48 hours before check-in), we incur a $100 registration fee at our community, which we will split with you. This means we will request $50 on top of the listed price on Airbnb.
