About this place

NEW TO HOUFY 05/02/25 but in our 21st year of rentals. Available for holidays & ALL Congress Events, MIPIM, MIPCOM, TFWA, FILM FESTIVAL, MIDEM, LIONS

This bright and airy second floor South facing apartment of 55 metres squared is within one of the protected small original buildings of Old Cannes. Nestled in among shops and the famous restaurants in the newly pedestrianized and renovated 'Place de La Liberty' it enjoys open views over the square where the weekly antique dealers and Artists set up their stalls and activities take place, the Christmas Market also.

Beyond the square you enjoy views onto the 'Old port', the 'Suquet' (the hillside on which the picturesque Old town of Cannes elegantly lays on your right) to your left, just 180 metres away is the 'Palais de Festival' where all the congress and festivals take place & the famous 'Croisette'.

The apartment has a rare private terrace of 12 metres squared, being south facing, you can sit and relax on it all day, even in the winter !

Despite being so central, once you decide to retire from the terrace and the shutters are closed you will sleep like a baby.

Now into our 21st year of holiday lettings with very many happy and returning guests.

Lovely to have some of our regular guests already reserved for the 2025 season hoping to now we see some new faces too of course from the 'Houfy Family' : )

I’m a proud Liverpudlian with a passion for providing a stress-free, comfortable stay for my guests, whether they’re returning faces or brand-new ones. I’ve been renting out this apartment since 2004, and over the years, I’ve learned that a little attention to detail goes a long way. Each closed season, the apartment is refreshed and updated to make sure it stays in top shape.

While I used to advertise only on Trip Advisor (RIP to my 33 five-star reviews—thanks for that, Trip Advisor !), I’m now excited to be part of the Houfy family and ready to make new memories with guests in 2025. My motto has always been, “50% of something is better than 100% of nothing,” which is why I keep the rates fair, while maintaining a high standard of comfort. After all, the goal is to keep the place occupied and happy walls !

I’ve always loved having that personal touch with guests. If I’m able, I’ll greet you on arrival, but once you’re settled, I’ll give you space to enjoy your holiday. I’ve always found it exciting to welcome guests from all over the world and boy over the years have we had that !

I think from the initial enquiry to the holiday should be stress free, about relaxing and having fun, not worrying about logistics.

So, whether you’re a returning guest or a new one, I’m looking forward to welcoming you in 2025.

90% of our guests fly into Nice Airport & take the Airport Shuttle or Bus to Cannes. Departing from Terminals 1 and 2 every 45 minutes. The shuttle waits just outside the airport terminals exit doors & is easy to find.

- From Nice International Airport > Via Airport Shuttle to Cannes Gare Terminus (Cannes Train Station)
30 min (26.2 km).

- From Cannes Train Station, 4 Pl. de la Gare, 06400 to the apartment is a 9 min (600 m) walk, 95% of the walk is
pedestrianized and flat.

- By taxi from Nice International Airport to the apartment is 36 min (25.9 km)

- Apartment to Palais de Festival Congress Hall > 450 meters, 6 minute walk (4 if your late ; )

- Apartment to the nearest beach 8 minutes 600 meters walk.

- Marche Forville 130 meters 2 minute walk (Fruits, veg, flowers etc).

- Nearest Parking Forville 240 meters 7 minutes walk.
