Scopello is one of the two entrances (the other is San Vito Lo Capo) of the most important and fascinating natural reserve in Sicily: Zingaro, where one can enjoy many “tropical” sandy beaches.

This medieval town is said the “town of love”, since here there was an eternal fire, just on top of the mountain, that during the ancient times (from at least VII b.C.) attracted the sailors of the Mediterranean due the presence of the “ancelle di Venere” (handmaids of Aphrodite). You can still see the Pozzo di Venere (from where the eternal fire emanated) in the gorgeous castle. In Erice you can have a walk in the past, along its courtyards, narrow alleys, its stone everywhere, the megalithic town walls and … the Ericini (cookies)!!!
50 kilometers away from the villa you can approache Marsala and the Stagnone an archipelago where stand the island of Mozia a masterpiece of archaeology and nature. The Stagnone is also a sort of outdoor museum with the renowned salt works.
