Nestled on 90 acres of tranquil woods, this "gem hidden in plain sight" offers a unique and authentic getaway in the heart of Maine. With miles of private trails, historic rock walls, and a meandering stream (guest assumes all risk), it's a nature lover's paradise.

Living Spaces: Spacious eat-in kitchen (fully equipped with refrigerator, stovetop, wall oven, microwave, coffee pot, and various small appliances), living room, office, library.

Convenience: In-unit washer/dryer, standby generator, Smart TVs, Wi-Fi.

Bedrooms: 1 Queen bed (main floor with blackout drapes), 1 Full bed (upstairs with room darkening shades).

Need more than 2 beds?
We can provide a Queen cot OR 2 Single cots that you can place as desired. Also, the living room couch accommodates one person (does not fold out but fits an average-height adult). Cot/bedding fee may apply for groups of 1-4 if cots are used.

Adventure-Ready Outdoor Paradise: Step outside to a sprawling shaded backyard:
- Relaxation: Screened gazebo, fire pit, picnic table, patio with BBQ grill.
- Parking: Ample off-street parking, perfect for trailers (ATV, snowmobile, horse trailers – grass paddock available).
- Trails: Private trail system on the property. Located just 0.25 miles from the ITS-83 snowmobile trail, 4 miles from marked ATV trails (ATVs are permitted on the road in order to access trails).

Guest access
The rental unit consists of the street-side half of the house, the remainder of the house is used for storage. No garage or outbuilding access except for the gazebo.

Other things to note
The person who booked the unit is *required to stay at the property*; no third party bookings are allowed.

Parties are not allowed due to Airbnb policy as well as our own.

This property is not child proofed. Please let us know in advance if you are bringing small children so that we can ensure you have what you need for a pleasant stay.

If you are bringing a pet please message us *before booking* for the full pet policy. Booking implies acceptance of all house rules and policies.

No smoking, vaping, or open flames are permitted indoors; outdoor designated smoking area is on the BBQ patio only. No parties. No illegal activities (including illegal drugs). No commercial photography/videography.

Please remove shoes in the entryway; benches with shoe storage are provided.

Bathroom tub water taps are reversed; hot water is on the right and cold is on the left (even though they are labeled the other way).

Tap water has been tested and is 100% safe to drink, but if the home has been vacant for a few days before your stay you may notice an odor. As you use the water it will diminish due to our water treatment systems.

This property is located in rural Maine. Seasonal encounters with local insects and other wildlife may occur. Please only open windows and exterior doors that are properly screened, and minimize the time exterior doors are open during check-in, check-out, and throughout your stay.

Rural Maine is not always the best place for cellular service; US Cellular / T-Mobile has the best coverage here, but if you have a different carrier, you *may* find that using WiFi calling works best.
