Ideally situated to explore the Salento Peninsula this spacious holiday retreat provides a comfortable home-from-home for groups of up to eight family or friends.
Designed for alfresco living the bright and airy, modern villa has been built in keeping with the traditions of a typical Salento courtyard house. The property has been arranged over one level, around a large courtyard where a tree has been planted to create a shady retreat from the sun. Here guests can prepare food at the BBQ, enjoy lazy meals in the external dining area or simply relax and unwind on a sun lounger, there is even an outside shower!

Inside, each room has access to the external space and the property has been fitted with cool tiled flooring throughout. The living room looks out to the terrace through floor-to-ceiling glass doors and houses a fireplace. This room is furnished with a dining table, a flat-screen, a smart TV, a sofa and a double sofa bed. The separate kitchen is fitted with; an oven, a cooker hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a Nespresso coffee machine, a fridge freezer and a small dining table complete with chairs.

The property is part of a larger complex where guests will find various shops including; a pharmacy, a hairdresser, grocery stores and various boutiques, bars and eateries.

Location

The Conca Specchiulla Village is the ideal destination for families with children, young people and travellers, it is located in the heart of Salento a 17-minute drive from Otranto, the easternmost point of the Salento Peninsula, (the heel of Italy's "boot") and a 6-minute drive from the picturesque coastal resort of Torre dell' Orso.

Torre dell' Orso is particularly known for its incredible beaches, crystal-clear waters, fine white sand and striking limestone cliffs. The two most famous beaches in the area are Spiaggia di Torre dell' Orso and Spiaggia delle Due Sorelle (Beach of the Two Sisters). Another notable attraction nearby (a 9-minute drive) is the Grotta della Poesia (Cave of Poetry), a natural sea cave known for its emerald-green waters that has become popular for cliff diving and swimming.

Other popular excursions in the area include; the Alimini Lakes (a 15-minute drive away) which are part of a protected area and offer opportunities for birdwatching, hiking and picnicking and Porto Badisco which is believed to be the site of the ancient Greek port of Hydrus, from here guests can take a boat tour to explore the nearby coastline, sea caves and hidden coves.

The Conca Specchiulla Village itself is a pretty, 8-minute walk from the sea through the surrounding pine forests. There is also a convenient free shuttle which takes 2 minutes (to access this, guests will need to request a card).

The closest international airport is Brindisi-Salento Airport (BDS) approximately a one hour and 8-minute drive from the accommodation.
