Spacious luxury chalet in the Quatre Vallees ski area, close to the ski slope and lift (~250 m). Very well equipped with free WLAN and open fireplace. The cosy, high-quality furnished chalet has an open-plan living room and a modern equipped kitchen. Large flat-screen satellite TV with blue-ray DVD player. IPod docking station. There are 4 bedrooms, two of which have en suite bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms have double beds, which can also be used as single beds. The fourth bedroom has single beds that can be put together as a double bed. The balconies offer a marvellous view over the Valais mountains. There is a small supermarket and a restaurant ~350 metres away. The centre of Les Collons is ~3 km away. This pleasant holiday resort has shops, restaurants, après-ski pubs, bank, post office, ski hire, ski school. In Thyon 2000, ~6 km, indoor swimming pool and childcare (from 18 months; winter season). To the quaint village of Hérémence ~2 km, here you will also find restaurants/cafés, a supermarket, a post office. Pharmacy and butcher in Vex, ~5 km. The attractive cultural and shopping town of Sion is ~18 km away. Attractive winter hiking trails and snowshoe routes.

Ski info Chalet altitude ~1,560 m, ski area up to 3,330 m, with Mont Fort glacier. The chalet is only approx. 250 m from the Les Masses 4-seater express chairlift and the ski run to Les Masses, with access to the entire Les Collons - Quatre Vallées - Verbier area. "Skiing at the highest level" with 410 kilometres of pistes and numerous fantastic ski routes and freeride runs. From Greppon Blanc (2,700 m), wonderful deep-snow descent "Eteygeon" (not marked or groomed; at your own risk) over 1,300 metres in altitude into a quiet side valley; return to the ski area by bus. Large "Centralpark" snow park near Thyon. Outdoor artificial ice rink in Les Collons, free admission. Attractive toboggan run between Thyon and Les Collons. The region offers ~12 km of cross-country ski trails.
Ski pass: up to 20% ski pass discount - depending on the season - on the normal price for the entire Les Collons - Verbier - 4 Vallées area as well as for the local Printze ski area from a 6-day pass; also applies to children, young people and senior citizens.
Summer info The chalet has garden furniture. Les Masses-Les Collons also has a lot to offer in spring, summer and autumn, especially the many hiking and mountain bike tours attract visitors. You can walk along the "Suonen" (former irrigation canals) with a slight incline. Other activities on offer include horse riding, climbing, gliding and bowling. A stroll through the historic town of Sion, the capital of Valais, and a boat trip on the underground lake of St-Léonard are well worthwhile. Another highlight is the 285 metre-high Grande Dixence dam.
