Treallen Rock has three spacious bedrooms – one containing an en-suite bathroom, all with peaceful views across the landscaped garden and Cornish countryside. One out of the three bedrooms has a zip and link bed, offering flexible sleeping arrangements with the option of a super king or full size twins.

Treallen Rock's combination of modern and traditional features, the sun trap patio and garden afford idyllic countryside views, while the Games/Media room provides a rainy-day solution for everyone.

Located at the top of Rock Road, there are a number of bakeries, shops and restaurants within a five minute walk of Treallen Rock. The sands of Rock Beach along with the St Enodoc Golf Club and Paul Ainsworth’s Mariners pub are all located at the bottom of the hill.

Foodies will enjoy the gourmet options at Padstow, which is just across the estuary, and the popular surfing beach of Polzeath which is less than ten minutes away by vehicle.

Ground Floor

Lounge

Dual aspect, with large double glazed French doors and a full width media wall at the far end, Treallen Rock's lounge bathes in natural day light. When evening falls, the sumptuous sofas, 65” smart TV (complete with streaming apps), SONOS sound bar and fire place create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Kitchen and Dining Room

Designed to cater for up to six guests, there is a double Rangemaster stove with a five burner hob and a built-in microwave for preparing holiday feasts. There’s also a full size integrated fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washer/drier and a Nespresso based coffee machine.

Games Room

A spacious room for watching movies and playing board games, this room comes with a corner sofa, smart TV (streaming apps pre installed), sound bar and work space which includes a desk, monitor and seating.

WC

Accessed via the entrance hall, there’s a WC, basin and hand wash.

First Floor

Master Bedroom and En-suite

This spacious, dual aspect master bedroom has a super king bed with high quality bed linen and overlooks the garden. There are two bedside cabinets, built-in storage and wardrobe with hanging space. The en-suite features an enclosed shower., WC, basin and hand wash.

Bedroom Two

Equipped with a king size bed and high quality bed linen, bedside cabinets with lighting, a chest of drawers, seating and clothes hanging space, spend tranquil mornings watching the world wake up from the garden-view windows. The family bathroom is just next door.

Bedroom Three

Bedroom three is a dual aspect room and comes with a zip and link super king bed (can be configured as two full size singles) and high quality bed linen, bedside cabinets with lighting, a chest of drawers and clothes hanging space. The family bathroom is located across the landing.

Family Bathroom

With a full size shower, luxurious bathtub and hand wash, the family bathroom is a haven of tranquility after active days exploring all that Rock has to offer.

Garden

At the rear of Treallen Rock, the enclosed garden provides plenty of space to relax and enjoy. The views are stunning and the sunsets need to be seen to be believed. We can organise the hire of a hot tub for you to enjoy the views from Treallen Rock's suntrap garden. Please message us for details.

Patio

Just outside the lounge and kitchen, an expansive patio and outdoor furniture create an idyllic spot for al fresco dining and summer lunches cooked on the charcoal barbeque.

Parking

There’s ample parking for two cars at Treallen Rock.

Guest access
Treallen Rock guests have complete access to the entire detached two storey property, included on site parking and private gardens with outstanding views.

Self service check in for our guests is via a lock box conveniently located at the property.

Other things to note
Outdoors
Running through Rock, the South West Coast Path is the perfect way to explore North Cornwall’s coastline. Take the path to Daymer Bay and enjoy breathtaking views from Brea Hill or continue to Polzeath. The Camel Trail starts across the estuary in Padstow and is fantastic for family-friendly cycle rides. The St Enodoc Golf Club is in the heart of Rock, and Trevose, Bowood and St Kew Golf Clubs are all within a 35 minute drive.

Activities for Children & Family
Other than the wide choice of gorgeous beaches nearby, there are plenty of alternatives for children to enjoy. The Camel Creek Adventure Park is perfect for the little ones to meet and feed the animals before running around in the indoor play area. For history enthusiasts, we’d recommend a day trip to Tintagel Castle, which is about 35 minutes away by car.

Beaches and Watersports
Rock Beach runs alongside the Camel Estuary and has stunning views across to Padstow. Daymer Bay and the surfing beach of Polzeath is also just a short drive away from Treallen Rock. Rock is a haven for sailing, stand up paddle boarding and kayaking. Polzeath has a range of excellent surf schools for lessons and equipment hire.

Food and Drink Scene
Rock is home to Four Boys Cafe, The Pityme Inn and The Dining Room, The Mariners run by Paul Ainsworth is also recommended for food or a chilled out drink. Hop on the water taxi from Rock to Padstow and enjoy the delights of Paul Ainsworth at Number 6, Caffè Rojano, Rick Stein’s and more.

Pampering
A short drive from Treallen Rock is the top notch Cowshed Spa at the St Moritz Hotel.

Festivals and Events
The Rock Oyster Festival is one of North Cornwall’s most popular events and is usually held in July. Across the estuary, Padstow’s annual Christmas Festival is the perfect way to enjoy the festive season. and is typically held at the beginning of December.
