With its origins in the 13th century, Maison de Domme has been carefully updated to preserve its historic features. It also offers the discerning guest modern luxury – reverse cycle air-conditioning, high-speed internet, large en-suite bedrooms accented with antiques, ultra-modern bathrooms, widescreen TVs, a fresh, modern kitchen and a wine cellar for connoisseurs and gourmets. The pool can be heated on request and there is an optional concierge and chef service.
The Maison Domme is one of the finest examples of Perigord architecture, located in the village of Domme. There are four bedrooms, which can sleep up to eight guests, with an additional sofa bed on the top floor which can sleep an extra guest.

- 2 beds of 90cms forming a double bed of 180 cm
- 4 beds of 80 cm forming 2 double beds of 160 cm
+ 1 sofa bed (2 x80) on request for kids or teenagers.
All of these bedrooms have a bathroom with a toilet and shower. On the second floor is an additional lounge.
All types of fruit trees, flowers and spices awaken the senses in your lovingly tended private garden. Take a dip in the pool and cap the day off with local wine and delicacies from the village shops, a 5-minute walk away, on your private terrace shaded by grapevines.
In the shoulder season (out of July/August), pool heating may be available at an additional cost of €200 per week.
All areas are available for guest use, except a linen cupboard.
Our English and French-speaking property manager will meet you on arrival and show you the house, and will be available during your stay should you have any queries. She has lots of information about local attractions.
She can also stock the fridge before you arrive (at extra cost), or make restaurant or other bookings for you.
As the house is located in the village, you won't need a car to go to local shops or visit restaurants. However, you will need one to travel further afield.
- There is parking for one small car on-site, and public car parking very close by.
- Pool heating is available for €200 per week. We need at least three days advance notice, and cannot guarantee a specific temperature.
