This is one of the city’s older districts, full of life and character. If you enjoy hustle and bustle, you’re in the perfect place—with supermarkets and department stores all within walking distance. Right across the street, there’s a small local shop for your daily essentials.
Are you a party lover? Then you’ll enjoy one of Suriname’s unique attractions—the party bus! These festive buses with loud music and dancing passengers drive by at least once a day, so be ready to join the fun!
