The space
Enjoy the entire 1200 SF cottage with a great location close to Cape San Blas, Mexico Beach and Port St Joe. We only reserve two owners' & cleaners' closets which are upstairs and are locked - the rest of the house is for you!

The two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom home sleeps six. Two upstairs bedrooms both have king beds, ensuite bathrooms, Smart TVs and newer LVP flooring. Downstairs includes a Queen Size sleeper sofa with a premium mattress and a 1/2 bath.

The home features high speed internet access and Smart TVs. Basic cable is provided. Cards and games can be found in the living area along with blanket throws to snuggle under while movie watching.

The kitchen is fully equipped with both a drip and k-cup coffee maker, blender, waffle maker, crock pot and tea kettle in addition to dinnerware for 6, glassware and a plethera of pots, pans & utensils.

The downstairs bathroom includes a laundry closet with washer/dryer, beach towels and 4 beach friendly chairs. Laundry soap / dryer sheets are not provided.

The downstairs porch is fully screened with a ceiling fan helping to cool things off in the summer months. Enjoy yourself at the patio table or in one of the adirondack chairs with the twinkle of the string lights at night.

The upstairs porch is attached to the master bedroom and is a great place to enjoy the morning. It also has a ceiling fan to keep the air moving and string lights for fun.

There are community grills - bring your own charcoal - where you might just make a new friend or two. There are two additional pools on property available to you. There is a modest exercise room on site with local paid gym options available.

Water Access: Barefoot Cottages is about 2 minutes from the closest public beach and close to Mexico Beach, Port St Joe and Cape San Blas.

Snowbirds are welcome! Contact owner for special pricing for stays of two weeks or more.

Guest access
Gate and door access are via keypad. Access instructions and codes are provided the day of check-in.

Check-in is 4:00 pm EST; check-out is 10:00 EST. Guests need to contact the owner for any special arrangements.

Other things to note
- All guests must be at least 25 years of age. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

-The property shall not be used at any time by more than the amount of adults and children per your reservation.

- No groups, events or parties are permitted.

- Pets are not permitted.

- Parking Notes: Two parking passes are provided; passes are to be displayed on the vehicle dash during the stay. There is NO parking of boats, trailers or RVs allowed on Barefoot Cottage property.

- No smoking of any kind is permitted anywhere on the premises.

- Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., please follow community rules as posted and be respectful of persons and property at Barefoot Cottages.

- Renter is liable for any damage to the property and agrees to accept charges to the card on file should damage occur during occupancy.

- No open fires or grills are permitted at the cottage or on the sidewalks to include no candles. Community BBQ grills are available.

- Maintenance or Housekeeping Issues; Property Conditions. We do everything we can to provide you with a pristine cottage but sometimes things just happen. Please contact the owner if anything is broken or inoperable and we'll do our best to get it resolved immediately :) We care about our property and your experience!

-Please do not allow anyone in your party to climb on railings, bannisters, retaining walls, stairwells, decks, etc. where there is a possibility of a fall. You are responsible for your party and by confirming your reservation you accept the responsibility to keep your party safe. Please notify us of any safety concerns you have upon check-in and we will be happy to have those items addressed quickly.

-A breach of any of the above terms may result in a forfeiture of your rights regarding this rental property, including eviction from the premises without refund.
