About this place
Mountain View Cabin in the Northern Rockies | Your Escape Awaits
This is the kind of place you come to slow down.
Tucked into the Northern Rockies on 5 acres, this cozy log cabin offers the kind of quiet that’s hard to find, where mornings start with coffee on the porch and nothing but mountain views in front of you.
Located along the Alaska Highway with easy year-round access, it is the perfect base to explore everything this area has to offer while still feeling tucked away in nature.
Days here can look however you want them to. Spend them exploring nearby rivers and trails, fishing for Arctic Grayling, or taking the scenic drive to Muncho Lake or Liard River Hot Springs. Or stay right where you are, soaking in the peace, watching wildlife move through the fields, and enjoying the simplicity of cabin life.
Inside, the cabin is warm, inviting, and designed for connection. The open concept layout makes it easy to gather, whether you are sharing meals, playing games, or winding down after a day outdoors. A wood stove adds to the cozy atmosphere and keeps the cabin warm on cooler days, while power and Starlink WiFi give you the option to stay connected if needed.
The cabin is set in a peaceful, natural setting with a neighbouring cabin nearby and a shared driveway, while still offering plenty of space to relax and unwind.
Sleeping arrangements include a queen bed on the main level, a loft with a double bed available for use at your own risk, and a full size air mattress for additional guests. Bedding is not included, so please bring your own sheets, pillowcases, and blankets to ensure a comfortable stay.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, including cookware, utensils, and coffee to start your mornings. Toilet paper and essential supplies are provided to make your stay easy and comfortable.
To keep things simple and affordable for our guests, the cabin is self clean and we do not charge a cleaning fee. We kindly ask that you leave the space as you found it for the next guests to enjoy.
This is a cabin experience with a touch of adventure. The property does not have running water. From approximately October through May, the cabin operates as a dry cabin with an outhouse on site. A clean and well maintained outhouse is conveniently attached to the cedar washhouse. During the warmer months, the cedar washhouse is open, featuring a hot shower and washing machine for added comfort. This is part of the experience of staying in the Northern Rockies.
Step outside and you will find a large covered porch with heater, a Blackstone BBQ ready for cooking, and a fire pit perfect for winding down under the stars.
This cabin is best suited for those looking to enjoy nature, adventure, and a more rustic cabin experience. If you are looking for quiet, space, and mountain views, you will feel right at home here.
