Which is a really long winded way of saying, this place is good. I chatted with the owner, Michael, this morning. I had just one question, "where did you come up with the name Java Burrito?"
"I get that question all the time," he said. Basically he took his two favorite things, coffee and Mexican food, and paired them together into one restaurant. To which I have one more question, "whatever took me so long to stop there?"
Java Burrito is amazing. The food is fresh and locally sourced, the atmosphere and vibe is on point.
Did I mention they have margaritas, too? :)
After a few visits for the food, my son and I finally stopped one summer afternoon to try their iced coffees. We got three, one Caramel Latte, and two Mexican Mochas. My son couldn't decide which one he wanted, so he sipped from the Caramel Latte. And then from the Mexican Mocha. And then from the Caramel Latte...you get the picture. I finally said, "buddy, you gotta pick one, whichever one dad gets will be half gone by the time we get back." 😂 I'm not sure which one he ended up with, but it was an easy decision for me. That Mexican Mocha is just the best. 😍
And just when you think this place couldn't get any better, we have the incredible fortune that Java Burrito is located a stone's throw from our Vacation Rental.
