How to Import Your VRBO Calendar to Houfy

Keep your Houfy calendar synced with your VRBO bookings by importing your VRBO iCal URL. This prevents double bookings and keeps your availability up-to-date across both platforms.

Step 1: Get Your VRBO iCal URL

1. Log into your VRBO account at vrbo.com

2. Navigate to your property dashboard and select the property you want to sync

3. Access Calendar Settings:

Click on the "Calendar" tab

Look for "Import/Export" or "Calendar Sync" option

This may be under "Settings" or "More Options"

4. Find the Export/iCal section:

Look for "Export Calendar" or "iCal Export"

Copy your iCal URL (it will look like: https://www.vrbo.com/icalendar/[unique-code].ics)


Step 2: Import to Houfy

1. Log into Houfy.com

2. Go to Manage Listings

3. Edit Calendar for the property you want to sync

4. Click Import

5. Enter the VRBO iCal URL you copied in Step 1. Save your settings

Done!

Your VRBO bookings will now automatically sync to your Houfy calendar. Updates typically take a few hours to reflect across platforms.

On Desktop/laptop: Please select menu > Manage Listings Select the listing you want to change, and then click Calendar. Click on any date or the date you want to change the minimum stay.
Where do I edit or change my booking cut-off date?
The booking cut-off date prevents travelers from booking your property after a specific date. This is helpful for those who may not want bookings far in advance, or for those who haven't set next year's rates yet.

What does “blocking dates” mean? A blocked date is a date, or period, that you have set to prevent a guest to book dates.
Export all reservations from Houfy
Most travel sites export current and future reservations in the export link, to export all past reservations on Houfy follow the below article.
Clear your calendar pricing
Go to Listings and click the listing you want to change Click Calendar from the left menu and click Clear pricing Click on Clear Pricing again to confirm the removal of prices.
