- Hosts and property managers using Rentals United
- Houfy members who want automatic syncing to prevent double bookings
Before you start
- Make sure you have an active Rentals United account.
- Have your Rentals United Account ID ready.
- Make sure you can log in to your Houfy account.
- Make sure your listings already exist either on Rentals United or Houfy.
Steps
1. Open the Rentals United connection page
- Log in to Houfy.
- Go to Software Partners: Manage Listings > Software Partners
- Locate & Select Rentals United from the list
2. Enter Your Account ID
- You will be directed to the rentals united partner page.
- Paste your Rentals United Account ID into the field provided.
3. Choose Your Sync Option
Select one of the following:
- Import new listings — Use this if your properties are not yet listed on Houfy.This will create new listings in Houfy.
- Map existing listings — links Rentals United listings to properties already created on Houfy.
4. Finalize the Connection
- Click Sign up with Rentals United
- This activates syncing between Rentals United and Houfy
5. Enable Payments on Houfy
Go to Houfy → Manage Listings → Connected Payments
Connect your Stripe or Square account to start accepting bookings and payouts.
6. Confirm your sync
- Open your listing on Houfy.
- Check that your calendar matches Rentals United.
- Check that your nightly pricing matches Rentals United.
Troubleshooting
My calendar is not updating
- Refresh your browser and wait a few minutes.
- Check that your listings were correctly imported or mapped.
- Confirm your connection shows as active in Channel Managers.
My prices are not updating
- Pricing updates run automatically at regular intervals.
- Allow time for the next sync cycle to complete.
My listings did not import or map
- Confirm your Account ID is correct.
- Try reconnecting via Channel Managers and repeating the import or mapping steps.
I added a new property but do not see it on Houfy
- Return to Channel Managers → Rentals United.
- Choose Import new listings or Map existing listings again to add the new property.

Availability syncs instantly and pricing syncs automatically at regular intervals.
Do I need to re-connect every time I add a new property?
No. Once connected, you can return to the integration page anytime to import or map additional listings.
