Content Complaints
Users must upload only content for which they own the rights, have explicit permission, or are otherwise legally authorized to use. Users warrant that their uploaded content is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party. Users acknowledge sole responsibility and potential legal liability for their uploaded content.
Complaint Process
To promote lawful and respectful use of the platform, Houfy provides a clear process for submitting complaints regarding user-posted content. We aim to review and resolve these issues fairly and promptly.
What Happens After You Submit a Complaint
Houfy may forward the written notice, including the complainant's contact info, to the member who posted the content. We may also take other steps to notify them of the complaint and any actions taken.
Response Timeline: Houfy commits to acknowledging all properly submitted complaints within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt. An initial investigation and any necessary actions, including content removal or user notification, will typically be completed within five (5) business days. Complex cases may require additional time.
Enforcement Policy
In appropriate circumstances, Houfy may disable or terminate accounts of users who infringe or repeatedly violate the rights of others or post unlawful content.
Repeat Infringer Policy: As part of our compliance with the DMCA, Houfy maintains a repeat infringer policy. If a user's content is subject to two (2) or more validated infringement claims, their account will be subject to termination. Houfy reserves the discretion to immediately terminate accounts for severe violations.

DMCA Compliance
Houfy has designated an agent to receive notices of claimed copyright infringement as required by the DMCA.

Counter-Notice Process
If you believe a copyright infringement claim was wrongly filed against you, you may submit a counter-notice under the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(2) and (3)).
