Twain Harte vacation rentals

Great place, great location. We stayed here and skied Dodge Ridge. Dodge Ridge was only 25 minutes away. The cabin was cozy with lots of space. And the cabin is a five minute walk to town, which has several good eating options. Looking forward to coming back summers and winters.

We stayed at Brent's place for two nights during a trip to Dodge Ridge Ski Resort (35 min drive with no traffic and good conditions). We liked that there were plenty of beds to sleep in so that families of 4-5 can fit comfortably in each room. The driveway was massive and could fit 6 cars easily if you wanted to. Brent even hired someone to plow the driveway for us before we arrived so that we didn't have to shovel snow at 9 PM when we arrived. There's a lot of stores and restaurants within walking distance, which was very convenient if you did not want to drive in bad conditions. The best part for us was that Brent had dual EV chargers that was free to use, which was great for us because we did not have to drive back to Sonora (15 minutes away) to use the Tesla Superchargers. We just had to bring our own Tesla adapter. The house was very clean with plenty of supplies fully stocked so we did not run out of anything. The dining table was long so everyone can eat together.

We had a wonderful time at Katie’s cabin. We had a very slight bauble getting in and with one call, everything was taken care of. The cabin was comfortable and had room for everyone! We had a group of 7 people- 2 adult couples, 11 year old, 7 year old and 2 year old. We enjoyed the lake. It was close enough that we were able to take the baby home for a nap while Papa and the big kids stayed to swim and play. Thanks so much for letting us use your beautiful place!

We really loved our stay and this has been one of my favorite Twain Harte properties ! Character galore ! The big foot theme is so cute . Pros : + Place was well appointed and I didn’t have to use the extra tp I brought for 4 of us for 4 days + Easy /simple check in and check out ! + Game room was awesome , my kids loved it ! + The queen sized upstairs bedroom stayed nice and dark and we appreciated the wall unit a/c. + The motion lights outside in driveway were so helpful . + downstairs ac worked fantastically . + beautiful ambient lighting + great water pressure and no issues with toilets flushing etc + Twain Harte lake access + internet worked great + lots of plugs for electronic charging etc + hosts were super friendly and accommodating ! Suggestions for hosts - consider adding insulated room darkening curtains to the game room and downstairs bedrooms :) I frequently make this suggestion when I travel Especially with kids as it helps with sleep ! - wall unit a/c would be helpful for the game room bedroom as it got toasty during hot days /nights (even with fans and airing out ) but tolerable ! (Or maybe moving the game away from a/c floor unit would help circulation). Suggestions for guests : Bring your own Kleenex . It’s one thing I always forget! We had such a lovely time at the Cabin. It is cozy, comfortable, clean and just the perfect spot to get away and relax. The stone fireplace and decor added to the cabin charm! Very close to Twain Harte which is a fun and darling little town to check out. Thank you Ashlee for a wonderful experience!

John and Amy's cabin was a beautiful, clean and wonderful location for my friends and family to stay during our ski vacation at Dodge Ridge to celebrate my son's 6th birthday. Although we were advised to potentially bring extra napkins, detergent, and paper towels, the house ended up being very well stocked with all of these items and much more! I appreciated that John and Amy permitted prior guests to leave non-perishable and unexpired items in the cabin in case my party forgot anything (e.g., salt, pepper, oil, jam, saran wrap, sandwich baggies). Also, the kitchen was stocked well with various pots, pans, ceramic and non-breakable dishes for the kids too. There were only 2 issues that we faced during our trip: (1) The house is a the end of a cul-duc sac on a very step hill so my family and my friends experienced some issues pulling into the driveway without scratching our cars' undercarriage or tail pipe. But I called John to discuss and he promptly asked a neighbor to help and pointed us to alternative nearby locations we could park. (2) We stayed during the winter so heat was a must! The house has a central heating system that warms the upstairs very well, but the downstairs bedrooms don't seem to get as much heat so there is a drastic temperature difference between the upstairs and lower levels. All in all, we would not hesitate to stay and John and Amy's cabin again. My son is already asking when he can go back. :) Thank you John and Amy for letting us stay at your beautiful cabin and for your hospitality.

Sundar is a nice host. The communication with him was very easy and quick. House was very clean, spacious, well designed, and comfortable. It has everything you need to perfectly host my 5 team members for over three months. Nice and functional full kitchen, large living room, washer and dryer available, mattresses are in excellent condition, and WiFi worked really well. It is located just off of the 108 and about 5 minutes from Twain Harte, where you can find few restaurants, bars, and a grocery store. Highly recommended to stay at Sundar’s place.

It was a Paradise as described, we were wowed with everything about this property: the game room, the cowboy house, waterfall, beautiful patio and surroundings. The kitchen had everything, the outdoor grilling area was very well equipped. Beds were super comfortable and plenty of towels available. An island of peace and serenity. Enough room for everyone to feel comfortable and immersed in nature while plenty of games and activities available. Exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. This place was beyond our expectations. Children had a blast, we would definitely stay here again and highly recommending. Thank you for an amazing weekend stay experience.
