Oceanfront Penthouse Salisbury
Six adults and two children (8 and 4) stayed very comfortably for the week. The condo was spacious and clean, with a well-appointed kitchen and updated bathrooms. So much was provided, including six beach chairs and a beach umbrella, which allowed us easier/lighter travel. Just plan to bring your own beach towels. Toiletries, Meyer’s cleaning supplies and sundries like toilet paper, keurig pods, hand soap and lotion etc were plentiful and much-appreciated. The beds were firm and comfortable with soft linens. Washcloths, hand and bath towels were fluffy. A large, new washer and dryer in the unit made life much easier with a group! The host was very accessible and responsive to questions. The huge star of this rental of course is the proximity to the ocean, right outside your back deck door! There are three sets of stairs to go up or down from the condo, but nothing unexpected…and it leads to a gorgeous, groomed sandy beach. It was perfect for swimming and boogie boarding (awesome waves!). The kids loved walking to find shells and sea creatures. We found three amazing live sea snails (one had to be at least a pound), a seven inch eel, and a quahog clam as big as my hand (all released back to the ocean). The only downside to our week was Salisbury’s Riverfest as there were two nights of people (not from the community) playing very loud music on the beach late into the night, keeping us awake, but that was no fault of the host. We had a great week!

Following a death in the family, we decided to go to Cape Cod for a vacation. We had been there many times before, but we always stayed in the Orleans area. This time we decided to explore the Harwich/Dennis/Yarmouth areas. It was a wise choice. The home we rented in Harwich was centrally located on a spacious lot, resulting in much privacy. The home was "dog friendly" so we were able to bring our Cocker Spaniel, who enhanced our vacation. The inside of the home was bright and cheerful. Sheets, blankets, and towels were provided, and the beds were very comfortable. There was a huge "great room" where the kitchen, dining area, and living room were opened, and many hours were spent reading or watching TV with a multitude of channels. WiFi was provided, and our computers worked well. Had it been warmer, we would have utilized the beautiful deck and gas grill. We cooked and ate inside most of the time. There were many places to visit in our location. One of our favorites was a nearby Cranberry Bog, which had a bus tour of the property and farming techniques used. The beaches were lovely. It was off season so our dog loved walking on the beach and chasing the seagulls. Many restaurants served some of the finest seafood we have ever eaten. My husband was shown some of the best fishing areas and plans to return in the spring to enjoy the sport. The Cape Cod Potato Chip Plant in Hyannis provided us with a tour of its facilities and gave us some samples of their chips. We enjoyed meeting new friends and appreciated their kindness toward us. The owners of this property care about "your stay." If anything needed to be attended to, they addressed it immediately. We will return. Upon leaving, we were rejuvenated!
Lovely, West End, Water Views, Spacious!
My partner and I make a pilgrimage with our friends to Ptown for Memorial Day weekend every year. When we found out that our favorite spot was already reserved this year, we were distraught. After some research and deliberation, we decided to try this condo. I never thought it would happen, but we have been converted! The condo is gloriously bright and has incredible views of the ocean. After a grueling winter and seemingly interminable work days, the experience of waking up to that much sunshine and a view of the ocean FROM THE BED was nothing short of precious. Not only is the condo surprisingly spacious (much more so than the photos make it appear), but it has also been thoughtfully decorated with brightly-colored and interesting art. Between the sweet furniture, artistic decor, and the newly finished wood floors, the home has a lively personality that added an unexpected delight to our trip. The location can't be beat, and for such a great price! I love that we were in the heart of things, just a skip and a jump from Joe's and the Boatslip. It was easy to pop in and out throughout the day, but then it was perfectly quiet for sleeping at night. There is also a lovely little patio for lounging outside in the sun for your morning coffee. And to top it all off, interacting with Meryl was great. She was extremely responsive, gave clear instructions, and then even mailed me my laptop charger when I accidentally left it behind! Looking back, in reflecting about the comparison of this space versus our old favorite, my partner said, "This place just makes me happy." I couldn't recommend this space more. Any time other than Memorial Day weekend, that is, because hopefully we'll be in it :).
Beachfront/ Pool / Hottub/ Sauna & Panoramic views
My family had to make a last minute trip to the area due to a death in the family. I had family members coming in on different days at different times, but we really wanted to stay together. I found Gary's house which had ample space and he graciously accommodated all our needs. All we really needed was a place with a lot of bedrooms for us all, but Gary's place was above and beyond! It was perfectly set up for a vacation rental with all the things you need and nothing that you don't. First it's located in a beautiful spot with a stunning view of the water and the Mount Hope Bridge in the distance. The house has been completely remodeled and is very clean and beachy. The beds and furniture were comfortable, the bathrooms were amazing with spa-like showers, and there was just enough decor to make it homey and pleasant without being overbearing. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we really appreciated the expanding table as we had a big family dinner one night. I have stayed in a lot of short-term vacation rentals over the years and I can't think of one that was better appointed for a travelling family. Gary himself was super nice and helpful, and check in/out was simple and fast. I will definitely stay here again when I am back in the area.

This home's layout was optimal for privacy and comfort with our large group. Everyone had quiet space as well as it was an open flow from the kitchen , dinning and living space for playing cards and preparing meals together. Short walk to a gorgeous beach that allows leashed dogs year round not normally the case on the Cape. Location is ideal for accessing Boston and Cape/ Islands attractions. Very little traffic. Customer service and interactions with the homeowner were always pleasant, quick and geared toward renter enjoyment. Communication is very important for me to feel at ease with a rental and Colleen is great at it. Property is well maintained through out. Very clean and it is great to have a large washer/ dryer at your disposal in the property. Enjoyed the cable package and fast wireless internet from all the nooks/crannies of the property. Cell phone service was also very good ( Verizon, AT&T & Sprint were represented in our group). We brought an xbox with us for our kids to watch a few movies / play a few games in between and there were no problems hooking it up on the LED tv, a time saving feature of quality. Plenty of clothing storage in dressers and the large closets. Pantry items and coffee to begin with were a godsend as we forgot to pack the COFFEE but this property saved us from a rough morning start!! Recommend taking in the sights and attractions of downtown Plymouth a 5-10 minute car trip. Many many restaurants with varying cuisines and plenty of take-out/ delivery options as well. Kitchen worked well for us in coordinating large meals too and the property layout did not alienate the chef from the rest of the goings ons/ vacation shenanigans which is a definite plus. We plan to return to this property for future getaways. We were here for a week and still have plenty more to see in the area. Maybe two weeks next time!! Thanks.

Kathy's apartment is in a super location. A two minute walk from the Prudential Centre, it was perfect for our family to explore Boston. It was my children's first time there so we walked a lot and Kathy's apartment was the perfect base. Star Market is a short 2 minute walk away so we were able to stock up on breakfast supplies. The apartment had everything we needed and was really clean and warm and had the added bonus of Netflix which was great for when the children were tired. The bedrooms were big with superking beds, closets and lots of hangers which are often lacking in rentals! There is a bit of noise from the apartment above - mainly the water pipes but it was something we got used to very quickly. The fence and gate at the entrance isn't very salubrious looking but don't let it put you off! The area is really quiet yet steps away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Kathy was a super host, from our first communications she was friendly and reassuring and flexible: We had an issue with our flights and arrived a day later than planned and she allowed us to stay a day longer at no extra charge. All in all I'd have absolutely no hesitation in recommend Kathy's apartment and have already sent the apartment details on to friends who want to visit Boston. Thank you Kathy!
Oceanside | Family Friendly Oceanfront Home
It's hard to know where to start when reviewing this property. The views are unbelievable (pics don't do it justice) and the sound of the ocean is so peaceful and calming. You are RIGHT THERE on the water. We left our windows open most nights just so we could go to sleep to it. The neighborhood and town is so nice, quiet and VERY safe for families. We never had any issues at all. The house itself was perfect for what my family needed. Little things like the beds being comfortable and great water pressure in the showers made it even better. We were able to find everything we needed in the kitchen and then some as well. Air conditioners are in every bedroom, so everyone was able to make the temperature exactly what they wanted. I think our favorite part of the house was the screened in porch. We sat out there every morning and every night. Our oldest teenager even slept out there one night (warning....the sun rises at 5AM). If we ever went back to this part of the country again, we would stay at this house. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
CountrySide close to Amherst, UMass and Noho!
Countryside is a great home close to UMass and Amherst College. Wonderful neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We have stayed in the area hotels before and wanted some more space. We were surprised to find the pricing was cheaper to rent a house, have more space and be more comfortable than staying in a hotel with our group of 7. Very quiet and relaxing property. All furnishings are updated, clean and well maintained through out ( Primarily were all new). We were in the area for a Lacrosse Tournament and it made all the difference coming home to a beautiful and relaxing house. We enjoyed barbeques in the evenings, views/dinner from the deck. Whole foods, Stop and Shop, tons of local farm stands, trader joes and starbucks are all a 5 minute car ride or 10 minute bus ride from the house. We walked up the bike path to Quarters which has a great patio area on the bike path pretty much has great apps and drink specials. We also took a similar stroll down the bike path to Alinas Italian restaurant one evening which was wonderful as well. Highly recommend this home and the owner Colleen she is great to work with, very responsive and extremely knowledgeable about the area. Future trips to the Amherst/ Hadley area it is a must to stay at this house!
