Ariadne - Pirgos Psilonerou

Metohi Georgila is a quiet resting place, built in 1908 by Dr Styliano Georgila, a personal friend of Eleftherios Venizelos. This House was not only a home, but also a shelter of hospitality for his friends and family.
Years later… wanting to continue the warmth and the generous Cretan hospitality, we reconstructed the building and we created 5 independent residences. Our inspiration wasn’t the need of a business, but the joy of offering and charring.

The space

Our inspiration wasn’t the need of a business, but the joy of offering and charring.
Metohi Georgila is located at Pyrgos Psilonerou, 15,5 klm from the central city of Chania. It’s only 1,5 klm away from the magnificent sandy beach, 1,5 klm from the market center of Maleme village and 4,5 klm away from the recreational and market center of Platanias village.
The unique natural surroundings and the peaceful family atmosphere will give you the possibility to enjoy moments of relaxation away from the touristic action, but very close to the most beautiful beaches of our county.

Bed linen and extra towels are provided so you can change them if needed.
A/C is available in a extra charge of 10€/day, 60€/week, 110€/14days

Other things to note
Driving directions:
'Leaving Chania Airport, drive along 500 metres, then left at first junction following signs to Chania, Kissamos/Kasteli, until you reach the National Highway (E75). Drive towards Chania, Kissamos. You'll drive for approximately 17km and you'll take the exit PLATANIAS
.
Follow the signs to Platanias until you reach the old national road.
Now you are just 1.8km away you'll see a black sign of Metohi Georgila. Turn left as you see at the photo.

Keep driving and you'll pass Gerani. Just after Gerani and before Maleme is Purgos Psilonerou.
When you arrive at Purgos Psilonerou drive carefully watching at your
right hand side for a sign says Kodomari, Koilada, Xirokabi.
You turn left towards Kodomari, you'll see a small sign says Metohi Georgila at your rightwith a banch of other signs.
Drive for 470m more and take the 2nd left, you'll see another sign of the hotel before the turn at your right hand,
at the turn there is a sign that says Metohi and again there is a small sign of the hotel.
You'll find us in 150m at your right hand side.
