Where do I begin, such a friendly host and always responded promptly. Their place was absolutely darling! It was so clean and provided everything we needed. The welcome gift was thoughtful (and quite yummy). I loved their binder with all the info we needed and a history of some of the decor, made me feel like I got to know them better. The most comfy bed, haven't slept that well in a long time. We have been to this location 4x times and we keep coming back because we love it here so much. Great location to everything, more in a private area so less traffic and a beautiful view! All I know is we're already thinking about our next visit and will definitely be using Jeri and Perry's condo again. If it wasn't so far (we live in Illinois) I would come here more often. Thank you for being such great hosts. You have a cozy and comfortable unit that made us feel welcome.

This nearly new property is conveniently located in a newish, quiet, and very well kept neighborhood between Orange Beach proper and Gulf Shores. Very easy and quick car access to shopping, activities, and restaurants, though not a lot of that is in easy walking distance if that’s desired. Our weeklong visit saw very light crowds on the beach in peak summer season and beautiful waters and white sands. The walk to the beach was painless… 5-7 minutes of a mostly paved route helped by a stop lighted crosswalk to more safely and easily cross a single, sometimes busy road. We had a family of 9 with 5 adults and 4 children. The incredibly open floor plan across the kitchen, dining, and living area led to a roominess that was much better than expected even with a large group. The owners have consciously and successfully worked for more of a resort feel than just a beach house, adding several full sized electronic games, a foosball table, a ping pong table, beach equipment (including two wagons for hauling it to the beach), etc. We had brought our own canopy for shade - one thing (nor umbrellas) that they didn’t have already. Our kids had a blast, whether at the beach or the house. The garage was so convenient for drying stuff out of the way. The view from the back deck wasn’t like a much higher priced beachfront house, but the white sands, hammocks, and cornhole games helped to keep the beachfront feel. Overall we would definitely stay here again!

We came with our little 4-month-old and it was so easy to care for her here. We even got to hook up our baby monitor and jump in the pool together for the first time since she was born. It was such a lovely setting for my husband and I to get to breathe and chat as friends after so much time spent focusing on our baby. We are so grateful to Ken and his family for creating and sharing such a restful space. It really did feel like a resort getaway! Ken himself is so ready to help and we appreciated that they offered to set up a travel crib for us to use. The location is 20-25 minutes from most restaurants and grocery stores and (totally on our end) I wish we would have read the welcome info and planned to bring groceries with us instead of planning to go out to get them later. It would have given us more time to enjoy just being there. On that note, the kitchen has everything you need and more, and the pool and outdoor space is just as delightful as it looks in the pictures! My husband and I agreed that we would make the trip again just to come here and not just as a stop on the way to our final destination! Highly recommend.

I started looking in November for an affordable and nice place to stay for two nights so we could attend my son’s Auburn graduation. And we came across this cute little home at an affordable price. Even though it was 45 minutes away, the drive was well worth it and beautiful. With so much fraud nowadays , I was leery about booking and paying online, but the hosts responded promptly and made me feel so much better about the whole process. When we arrived, I was overjoyed by the cleanliness and just how adorable this tiny home was. The porch was amazing and the land out front was beautiful. We had plenty of room and it is fully stocked with everything that we needed. We didn’t even turn on the TV because we were just enjoying the atmosphere so much. I highly recommend that you book here and it is perfect. If you have two kids that can stay upstairs in the loft that has two twin beds.! Thank you again for being so wonderful and helping us to enjoy this stressful graduation time!

This is such a beautiful little home. Everything is well appointed and lovely. It has a full kitchen and laundry. My husband and I were staying for 6 days so that came in very handy! The owner is nearby and in communication with you if needed. I needed a battery for the wall clock and it was there within minutes! I definitely recommend this sweet little spot!

This was our second stay here in three years and plan a third stay for next year. We chose the week before Christmas and were so impressed with how tasteful the cottage was decorated for the season. With six adults, four kids ranging from 1-10 years old and a dog, the property offers plenty of room both inside and out. The combined great room and dining room is huge; perfect for a group our size. The island kitchen has everything you need and all the prep area you'd want. The kids loved sitting at the kitchen bar and ate all of their meals there. The three bedroom, three bath cottage fit our family to a T. The master suite and bathroom/dressing areas are huge. The cottage also boasts a wonderful main level guest room and private bath. Upstairs is another large guest room and bath plus a bonus room which three of my grandchildren loved. My favorite part of this cottage is the partial wrap-around screen porch. You'll enjoy a very large wood-burning fireplace, a Green Egg for grilling and a double-sized porch swing/bed. Napping was never better! Right off the screen porch is an outdoor seating area overlooking the valley. Perfect for coffee or cocktails and just four steps down to a large Solo outdoor fire pit. A great location as the cottage is very close to Little River Canyon trail so be sure to enjoy that when you visit. Easy drive to downtown Mentone. Also, Fort Payne is only about a 20 minute ride for shopping, restaurants etc.

We enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper Sunset!! It was nice to have the pier/dock at the lagoon right out the back door and then a short walk across the road and down a couple of houses to the gulf and a beautiful and clean beach. For Memorial Day weekend, we almost had the beach to ourselves since we were further away from Gulf Shores proper. Lots of sand toys for the grandkids, and the wagon was helpful for getting things to the beach. We took my mom (88 years old) and she loved it!! And it turned out that one of the bathrooms has been redone to have a walk-in shower. We'd brought a tub/shower bench and grab bar with suction cups but only needed to put the grab bar up since she could walk into the shower. When our grandson was almost home he told our daughter, "Mom, I want to go back to Gulf Shores!" We had a great time making fun memories! And my mom was so excited to be able to sit on the porches and enjoy the views!! Thank you for being a gracious host!!

We enjoyed our stay in this house! The owners are super nice and very helpful and responsive. It was really nice being walking distance from the Sassy Bass. Whether it was ice, bait, beer or dinner - it was right in your back yard. Very short walk to the beach as well. The house is right across the street from the beach at the end of a short dead-end road. No traffic. It was close enough and safe enough that if the kids (8-12) needed something from the house while we were at the beach they could run up there no problem. There are all sorts of beach items provided in a large closet under the house - chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, buckets, shovels, nets for chasing crabs around - you name it. Even a few bikes. We had 3 families staying in the house. 6 adults and 5 kids. The only downside was one couple stayed in the convertible room and that is where the kids seemed to want to watch movies in the evenings. But, it worked out. There are numerous places to sleep in this house outside of actual beds. There is the convertible room plus 2 couches that covert to double sized beds in the living room plus you could totally sleep on the “couches” outside on both screened in porches if that was your thing. House is really set-up and perfect for 2 families and lots of kids. The pool was great - it’s small but yet perfect. Kids would use it while we were cooking dinner in the evenings and worked great for the adults after dark. Kitchen and dining and living area is very spacious as well and open. It was easy to enjoy everyone’s company. The huge island in the kitchen was nice trying to feed 11 people - lots of counter top space! Overall I would highly recommend this home and will in the future.
