Who remembers the ancient Hop Turn?
The hop turn has become somewhat of a lost art in the new age of skiing. Blame it on the popularity of aerial maneuvers or the evolution in ski design, but the hop turn has been thrown overboard like Captain Jack Sparrow dumping barrels of rum off the Black Pearl to sail his ship faster.

An Ohio physician who suffered serious injuries to his knee is seeking more than $300,000 in damages from the Texas man who crashed into him from behind at Keystone Ski Resort. Dr. James Lutz of Cincinnati claims that Nathan Johnson of Ector, Texas, was recklessly skiing down the "Frenchman" at 1:50 p.m.
