Walking through Vermont is like walking through a museum of beautiful paintings. In one moment, you can be looking up at majestic mountains that cut through the sky's backdrop and in the next moment, you're driving through a winding road to a picturesque steeple on top of a hill.

Vermont Pilgrimage

Every year my friend and I get into the car to explore Vermont. The rule is that we have no planned route. We simply point and turn at will. Wherever we end up at dinner time we stop and eat. After dinner we head straight home with the fastest route. We ended up in Tinmouth, Wells, Ira, and Middletown Springs, Vermont. This year we added the requirement that the trip has to involve an antique store.
