Less than 2 miles from the house, in Acadia National Park, is Frazer Point picnic area. Another great place to read, relax, roast hot dogs and marshmallows while you watch sunsets and lobster boats!

Within Frazer Point park, there are private nooks along idyllic paths, with waterside tables and fire pits with grills. Restrooms, too!
JM Gerrish Cafe is one of  4 eateries within walking distance of the house. They serve ice cream in addition to breakfast and lunch. (Ice cream until 5 pm.)
From the house, walk or drive to the town's shops and galleries, including antiques, art glass,  sculptures, paintings, handcrafts, sea glass jewelry, and more!
One of the passenger ferries that take people back and forth between Winter Harbor and Bar Harbor. The ride is a don't-miss excursion during which you will see stunning scenery: pine topped islands, cliffs, surf, lighthouses, eagles, and more!
Blueberryland (about 30 miles from the house) is just one of many area attractions you won't want to miss during your stay!
Eagles are a common sight in town, even from the back deck of the house. This one landed at the town pier, Winter Harbor, Maine.
Don't miss a stop at the famous Winter Harbor 5 & 10, packed full of necessities, souvenirs, supplies of all sorts. Even Martha Stewart has shopped here!
Jones Pond (actually over 400 acres) and picnic area is less than 7 miles from the house. Have a kayak delivered to the pond by Seascapes Kayak & Bike Rentals (3/10 mile from the house) and enjoy a day on the water.
The Cleat, a sculpture that sits in the harbor, greets you as you enter Winter Harbor. This scene is ~4 minute walk, or less than 1 minute drive from the house. Across the road are The Salt Box and Fisherman's Galley restaurants. In the upper left corner of the phot is the Winter Harbor Marina, where the Winter Harbor - Bar Harbor ferries dock.

Sunny, airy townhouse nestled in the quiet, relaxing, coastal village of Winter Harbor within easy walking distance of ocean, restaurants, groceries, shops, galleries, kayak/bike rentals and seasonal passenger ferry to Bar Harbor. Guests especially love the mountain and sunset views from the back deck of this clean, comfortable home.

The entire 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath townhouse (a full half of the duplex house, with private entrance and dedicated parking in your own driveway), is your unshared vacation space.

Less than 1 mile from the entrance to the Schoodic section of Acadia National Park. Within walking distance to the harbor, restaurants, shops, galleries and the passenger ferry to Bar Harbor! Local Restaurants: Grocery store is within walking distance! Within the complex, there's a playscape for kids to enjoy, brick paths and a gazebo with picnic table. One minute from kayak and bike rentals.
