Hi, I’m Ryan. I’m the owner, designer, and caretaker of Corton Lodge — a restored 1913 church nestled along the Elk River in the wilds of West Virginia. What began as a personal restoration project grew into a place meant for rest, reflection, and meaningful gatherings. I’ve been hands-on in every part of the lodge’s transformation, from the reclaimed wood details to the walking trails that wind through more than 180 acres of forest and riverfront. My goal has always been simple: create a space where people can slow down, reconnect, and experience peace in a beautiful natural setting. Corton Lodge welcomes guests from all over the country — whether you’re here for a wedding, a quiet retreat, or time outdoors with people you love.
