Baltimore vacation rentals

Brandon was an incredibly kind and thoughtful host. We were a little anxious about staying in a new place during the pandemic, but his commitment to cleanliness and quick responses reassured us. This gem of a spot enabled us to have a peaceful escape at a time where peace is in short supply. The location couldn't have been better. We loved being so close to Patterson Perk and B'More Licks; we went to both almost every day of our trip, in fact. We also enjoyed pizza and beer from Verde. The park provided the perfect spot for reading, drawing, running, and general relaxing. The apartment was very clean, and the accommodations were stylish and comfortable. We both slept the best we have in a very long time. There were plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The water pressure and temperature control were enviable - I wish we could get that kind of control at our home! The kitchen provided appliances (microwave, coffeemaker, etc.) that made it easy for us to order out and eat in, so we could avoid the exposure of restaurants. We both worked from the apartment during our stay, and the WiFi suited our needs, even when video chatting. We unfortunately didn't get the opportunity to use the hot tub, because it was so hot on the nights we were there; instead we spent most evenings sprawled out on the comfy couch, watching one of the many options on the flat screen TV. We hope to return soon - perhaps once the coronavirus is under control, so we can enjoy the many cute shops and bars we saw from the outside. But in the mean time, we couldn't have asked for a better vacation.

Hollins Hideaway was a wonderful little studio, my stay was scheduled for the weekend of Valentine’s Day and when I checked in there was a cute sign with some chocolates and flowers waiting for me and my boyfriend. The atmosphere of the studio was comfortable and welcoming, with all of the essentials provided in addition to a super cool arcade machine with some vintage games! Being so close to the local market made it convenient to get last minute ingredients for dinner, and there was this tasteful pizza joint right around the corner. Alberto was very responsive when the smoke detectors went off while cooking dinner and provide clear instructions on how to remedy the situation. The private parking lot gave me a sense of relief that my vehicle was safe and away from typical city traffic. My only wish is that it wasn’t raining the dates I was there so I could explore the city more. Next time I plan to stay in Baltimore, I will certainly look forward to staying at Hollins Hideaway again!
