Pocono Pines vacation rentals

I stayed in this home from Thursday night to Saturday morning with a large group of friends and family. The home and owner, Ricky, were both very accommodating during our stay. We came for an event Friday and unfortunately the largest snow storm of 2018 inconvenienced our trip. Over 16 inches of snow caused (area wide) power outages, road closures, and extreme cold. Throughout this negative experience our group looked on the positive side and made the most of the situation. Ricky was also very supportive. He was apologetic for something no one could help and allowed us to use as much wood as we wanted to stay warm. He also called the (contracted) plow company to make sure we could get out safely and allowed for us to have a late checkout. After everything was said and done and we were back in our own homes, I spoke to Ricky and he still felt bad for our unfortunate experience. Without me expecting or asking for any sort of compensation for our visit he offered to return a portion of our money. I wish that the trip went as planned, without the snow problems, but overall everything worked out and we were all safe. I would definitely consider returning to this home in the future.

We reserved Pocono Pines for a long weekend retreat and it did not disappoint— in fact it exceeded our expectations! We did not come to the Poconos for outdoor adventure, rather to reconnect with each other after a few challenging years. We sifted through many homes in the area on VRBO until we found this one that had all the amenities we desired: a hot tub; enough beds/bedrooms; room for lounging; a deck; a fire pit; a fireplace; and an aesthetic that would lift our spirits in the middle of winter. The house has so much light and love in it that we immediately relaxed and felt at home upon arrival. The kitchen had everything we needed to create the meals we planned to make, and the living and dining room had plenty of seating. The fireplace added ambiance and warmth while we drank our morning coffee, chatted, and read. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of space for unpacking. Everything was clean and I can’t say enough about how the decor and color palette made us so happy! The owners were very welcoming giving us all the information about the area we could ever want and made sure we knew they were available to help us if we had any questions. There was snowfall while we were there (adding to the magic of the large picture windows in the living room), and the owners were kind enough to promptly send a crew out to plow and shovel. To that point, we also appreciated that unlike some places that have “surprised” us in other rentals with loud mowing in the early morning, we were given a ‘head’s up’ of when the crew would arrive. All in all it was a beautiful, clean space with everything you could want! We can’t thank Whitney and Anthony enough and we hope to return again next year!

This home caught our eye right away, with modern updates and a great location. All communication was fantastic, prompt and helpful throughout our stay. Whitney and Anthony were amazing. This was our first time to the Poconos during the summer and they had so many great recommendation to keep our 4 kids and us entertained. The photos are a true reflection of the home and property. It was very nice that the crested falcon had all preferred activities and vendor recommendation that made it very easy for us to get our agenda filled. Would definitely look to stay here again! Maybe for our winter trip :)

This house was exactly as described and our family had a relaxing end of summer weekend at the house. The fire pit by the lake and the hot tub were the highlight of our trip.
