St. Simons vacation rentals

Ein sehr angenehmes langes Wochenende hatten wir alle 8. Es waren vier Erwachsene und vier Kinder und jeder konnte in einem Bett schlafen. Die drei Ebenen ermöglichten es den Erwachsenen und Kindern, etwas Platz für sich zu haben, und der Hauptwohnraum ist groß genug, dass wir alle zusammen essen und uns aufhalten konnten. Die hintere Veranda ist ziemlich privat und wird von einer großen alten Eiche mit spanischem Moos, Farnen und anderer Flora bewacht, während der Master-Balkon einen schönen Blick auf eine große Fläche von Binnenmarschen bietet, wo man den Wasserstand mit den Gezeiten steigen und fallen sehen kann. Beide Orte sind gut zum Entspannen. Wir haben die meiste Zeit unser eigenes Essen mitgebracht und alle unsere Mahlzeiten zubereitet. Wir sind nie essen gegangen, daher kann ich nichts über die Inselküche sagen, aber es gab einige sehr gute Köche in der Gruppe und die Küche hatte alles, was wir brauchten, um gut zu essen. Der Strand ist nur zwei oder drei Gehminuten entfernt. Die Einheit ist in der Nähe eines öffentlichen Zugangs mit einem schönen erhöhten Gehweg, der zum Strand führt, was es einfacher macht, Dinge zum und vom Strand zu transportieren. Es ist ein fahrradfreundlicher Ort und man kann relativ einfach um die Insel fahren (wir haben unsere eigenen Fahrräder mitgebracht, aber sie können in der Nähe gemietet werden). Wir sind mehrmals ins Village gefahren und haben dabei verschiedene Routen genutzt und konnten sogar am Strand selbst fahren, was sehr angenehm war. Die Teenager mochten es, im Village abzuhängen und einzukaufen. Wir freuen uns darauf, beim nächsten Mal wieder dort zu bleiben, wenn Verwandte für eine Weile in der Stadt sind.

My wife booked a late summer trip for us to the island, a place we often. We typically get a house on East Beach, but since we were bringing our 9 month old for her first trip we wanted the amenities of a resort and didn't want to have to drive anywhere. We booked this unit as we needed a second bedroom for the baby. What a great choice it was! The condo was extremely comfortable and perfectly suited our needs. The views are great, the location can't be beat, and we thoroughly enjoyed the unit itself. The K&P, to our surprise, has been totally renovated in regards to the lobby, bar, restaurant and pool area. And I must say they did a fantastic job. The level of service is much better than I remember (I stayed there for a week in 2011) as well. Way to step up your game K&P! It is a true resort again! I played two rounds of golf at the K&P Golf Course (The Hampton Golf Club) and was very pleased at the discounted greens fees and the overall shape of the course. It's in my opinion, one of the top courses on the island in terms of shape, scenery and difficulty. I highly recommend this property and this individual unit to anyone wishing to spend time on St. Simons. You can walk to shops, beverage stores, Crabdaddy's, The Crab Trap, and Beachcomber. Ecco, inside the lobby of the K&P, is the only restaurant on the island with uninterrupted ocean views, and has great food. Our little family had a truly wonderful late summer vacation!

King and Prince South Ocean Villa 22 provided the perfect setting for a few days at the beach with grandkids and family. There's a pool a few feet from the balcony, which the grands absolutely loved. The ocean, also clearly visible from the villa, is just a very short stroll across the lawn. The updated interior made our stay even more enjoyable; the owners have gone to great lengths to provide every necessity. Bathrooms are immaculate, with marble and granite highlights throughout. The grandkids loved the electric inflatable air mattress! There's covered parking, easy access to all amenities, and great restaurants within walking distance. The whole family enjoyed our stay immensely, and we all agreed we would choose this villa again, with no hesitation. Wonderfully relaxing experience! Great choice.

The pictures do not do this cottage justice. I have been traveling to SSI for many years, and this is the most beautiful, well-decorated, and ideally located cottage I have stayed in. When we first arrived, I was immediately impressed with how well the property was maintained and its cleanliness. It was easy to get our luggage to the first and second floors with the private, in-home elevator, and I was happy that there was so much space in the garage to store our beach gear. The property also came with four bikes, and we rode those things all over the island! Upon entering, I couldn’t believe how well decorated and appointed the cottage was. There was room for everyone to hang out together on the main level, and I loved that the space felt warm and relaxed. The kitchen was fully stocked with EVERYTHING we needed, and I especially loved the coffee bar adjacent to the kitchen (we all love our coffee!). The bedrooms were beautiful, and the beds were comfortable (the main bedroom/bathroom were impressive), but the best part was the second-level veranda (two of the bedrooms open out to it). What a view! The veranda looks out over the marsh, which glows golden as the sun sets in the evening. The porch on the main level also looks out over the marsh, and I loved hanging out with my family or reading a book in the sitting area. Great location! Very short walk to the beach and very close to restaurants (1-minute drive to island favorites like Crabdaddy's and The Crap Trap) and shopping. One evening, we put our name in at Crabdaddy's and then headed over to The King and Prince Resort for cocktails on the patio overlooking the beach, and we had a great time. The hosts were very responsive and thought about every detail, making our stay comfortable. This was hands-down the best vacation rental we have stayed in, and we will be back!

We stayed at this beautiful property for our honeymoon, and it was PERFECT in every way! Before we arrived, Guy Spicer sent us a personal email to welcome us and give every detail we would need about the property. The location was easy to find, and it’s in a great area of town. The space itself is extremely comfortable and quaint. The kitchen is furnished with all the necessities, so we were able to cook some meals “at home” and save money that way. The whole property was perfectly clean! In regards to the community, it was peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed taking long walks around the area under the gorgeous live oaks and Spanish moss. Downtown was a quick drive away and we enjoyed the delicious restaurants there. We often speak about how much we loved our trip to SSI, and we cannot wait to visit and stay in this property again someday!!!

We were all impressed with the home and facilities. The pool was practically in our front door which pleased the teen girls! They also loved the bikes and took several bike tides (every day) to explore. Mom and dad took turns going with them. It is a very safe area. We (the grandparents) were grateful for the main floor bedroom. The home is really close to everything onthe island. The owners were very helpful making recommendations of things to see and restaurants. The only reason i gave it a 4 for location is that i would have loved a beachfront property. But seriously this was so nice... i would have given it a 4.5 if I could.

Pool was awesome! Kids and fam had a great time. Very close to everything you need, just an all around great experience.

We've stayed in this property at least 3 times! The views are spectacular! The beds are divine! The property is always clean. It is well appointed with linens and kitchen items! Our fav place to stay on SSI!!
