New York vacation rentals

Would be very happy to recommend this apartment. Harvin was an attentive host who kindly left a bottle of wine out to welcome us when we arrived and ensured there were plenty of clean towels, coffee etc available. We didn’t meet up in person – we arrived late after a flight from London – but were able to collect the keys from a lockbox outside which made things easy. Harvin also checked in during the stay to make sure we were ok and assured us he was always a phone call away if we needed anything. The apartment is very clean and spacious with two big bedrooms, a large lounge/kitchen and even a decent-sized terrace. As a converted carriage house, it’s a pretty interesting and quirky space – so was exactly what we were hoping for in a ‘funky Brooklyn apartment’! Lexington Avenue is a very quiet residential street which means we got a peaceful undisturbed night’s sleep. But at the same time, it was only a short walk into Bushwick where we found lots of cool bars – plus an easy Metro journey into Williamsburg and Manhattan. So yeah, awesome place. Would definitely stay there again.

This was one of our favorite family vacations to date! I am a Cornell grad and we love coming to the Finger Lakes and staying by Cayuga Lake. It was so nice to be so close to the water at this cottage! We couldn't keep the kids out of the lake - they loved the kayaks and our 10 year old was proud to learn to skip stones. They had a great time fishing in the pond at the back - there is a nice safe dock and they stayed there for hours because the sunfish kept biting. The owners were really helpful and had great suggestions for things to do in the area with kids - for one, we went for a walk over to the state nature preserve - it was really neat to see the osprey nest with the fledgling ospreys and later in the week the kids were so excited to get to see them diving for fish right in front of the property! The grounds were huge compared to most cottages that we've stayed at in the past - the kids enjoyed being able to go out and kick their soccer ball around. The house was very clean and comfortable and had enough space that we weren't right on top of each other. We had one really rainy day that kept us inside, but the games and videos kept everyone entertained. The kitchen was easy to use with plenty of cookware, and we particularly liked eating outside - WHAT A VIEW, and the kids really liked watching different boats pass by!! The only odd thing is that to get to the cottage you have to drive through a marina, but the owners provide good directions and once we arrived it was very private. We'd definitely love to come back here, and now my husband is thinking about bringing his fishing boat with us next time and mooring it in the marina during our visit.

Harvin’s home is very spacious, clean and everything in the home looks like the photos expect it looks much beautiful in person. It’s very chic/modern looking. There was a group of 6 of us and we only stayed there for 1 night. There was a minor issue with another group who booked another one of his properties in the back of this home. They came to the door, thinking this was their stay which it wasn’t, so at one point that was a bit confusing until I contacted Harvin and he explained everything out to me and told me they were supposed to stay somewhere else. Harvin was very responsive to me when I reached out, which I appreciated. Other than that our stay were great and I really liked that each room were of a good size and had its own TV. There were some good restaurants and vegan restaurants nearby and we order our food through Uber eats with no hassle. There was a bit of a cold draft that comes through the sides of the Air conditioner in the kitchen window, which makes the first floor chilly at some parts of the stay, (here and there, which didn’t last for the whole stay; but that’s something that could be fixed). The temperature was great upstairs. But other than that his home really feels like home. Throughout all my experiences of staying in other AirBnB homes, Harvin’s place was my favorite. We enjoyed our stay so much that we asked if we can check-out an hour or two later and thankfully he allowed us to. Overall our experience was fun, good and we will defiantly recommend this place to others to stay and I would defiantly come back for another stay !!

My family of 10 had the privilege of staying in this beautiful Chalet located in Ellicottville, NY. The location of the Chalet is literally minutes away from downtown yet it is very peaceful, quiet and we all felt very safe throughout our stay. We enjoyed the family of deer that were regular visitors, the two chipmunks that playfully chased eachother around the yard and the birds who seemed to enjoy us as much as we did them. The views were amazing from morning till night. We were in such awe and so excited our first night we stayed up pretty late and watched the fog roll in and over the trees, what a very cool sight to see. Indoors as with everything else went beyond our expectations from the furniture (all the furniture, and those two chairs Steve!!!) to the decor to the blankets. We loved it all! This Chalet is equipped to have multiple families of all ages enjoy their stay. With two full size gourmet kitchens (1 with 2 sinks), three full size bathrooms, jetted tub, a sauna, and an outdoor-clean jacuzzi we fully enjoyed them all. The ping-pong table got alot of use and the downstairs dining table was perfect for the personalized family jigsaw puzzle, mission complete! Steve, the owner was very thorough and a pleasure to work with. He checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was good and was very quick to respond to the questions that I had prior to, during and after our stay. (Even with my dad's panic of being able to get the football games, which of course were able to get lol) There are so many positive things to say about the Chalet, neighborhood, location, town I could continue on but we would be here all night. I want to finish by saying I would definitely recommend booking your next getaway here, you will not be disappointed!

One of the questions we debated about was if the bear theme is applied after the Matt Coney'beare'? Plus, it is wonderfully done. Another question - Had to hire an interior decorator? or just applied theme off a home ideas somewhere? Overall the pieces, furniture, utilities, equipment - all were working as expected. Spacious and well organized property. Charging ports everywhere, speakers and apple devices here and there. Netflix etc. subscriptions available- everything a guest desires for just 'another home away from home' experience was there. Neighborhood seemed good. Spotted some deers in the backyard woods in the morning. Nothing bad at all about the property. Just one door of the main bathroom does not lock. Not sure if that is on purpose for child safety or it broke. I am sure, the next guest could ask Matt if he has fixed it.

This is an amazing rental! Mario was extremely helpful and had everything we needed ready for us (including a complimentary bottle of Prosecco). He also stopped by to see if everything was satisfactory on one occasion, but was not intrusive on our stay. Communication before and during our stay was fantastic. As for the house…this is one of the best rentals we have stayed in. The house was immaculate. The kitchen is well set up and stocked with quality appliances, pots, pans and utensils. The water pressure to sinks and showers was amazing. The fire pit was awesome. The decor in the house was welcoming and aesthetically relaxing. Beds were all very comfortable and easily accommodated myself and four adult friends. The wrap around porch was nice too. A short walk to great swimming and fishing creek with other awesome lakes, ponds and hikes only 15-20 minutes drive away. Good breakfast place (Fellows Cafe) short walk from house. This house was absolutely perfect for our fishing trip. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks Mario and family for a great stay and congratulations on Italy winning the Euro cup.

Mark was an extremely gracious and considerate host, personally giving us a good lay of the land (explaining apartment, building, neighborhood, and also checking in with us mid-way to make sure all was well. The apartment was as described, very comfortable for an Upper East Side one-bedroom. It was nice to have the separation of bedroom and living space on two floors. This is not typical for a smaller apartment in New York and was kind of cool. Most NY one bedrooms don't have the extra half bath, so this was a plus. Also, for a smaller building, it was nice to have an elevator. There are buildings that are cared for, and there are buildings that are not. This one is well maintained. The air conditioning was more than adequate to help us through some warm days. It's in the middle of a typical Upper East Side neighborhood, which is to say, plenty of nice restaurants and shops from very casual to very fine, and including steps away one of my personal favorite's, Luke's, which serves a pretty good lobster role and is kind of a cute faux-Maine lobster shack. You are minutes from the Met and Central Park, and it's a nice walk to get there. For runners, it's 10 minutes or so to the CP reservoir, one of my favorite runs. Or do the whole perimeter of the park, which is six miles and a spectacle of nature and the human parade. The nearby Neue Gallery, another favorite, now has a line literally around the block, as a result of the movie Lady in Gold. Maybe this will settle down after a few months, because the Neue is a gem. You can get a good work out at Crunch fitness, right across 3rd Ave., one minute from apartment, at a day rate of $35. If you're someone who feels you just need a workout now and then, particularly because you'll want to eat well in NY, this is a worthwhile convenience. Bottom line. Nice apartment, with a very thoughtful and attentive host. I would return. Thanks, Mark.

This one of a kind “Scandi A-Frame house w/Hot Tub & Sauna” is perfect for a private getaway. It’s close to a lot of hiking trails and a bunch of ski resorts. We spent our 3 nights extended weekend there and we were blown away by how clean Whitney’s house was. Everything was in its place and everything had a place for itself - well put together. If you are an active person who enjoys hikes, runs, cross fit or skiing/snow boarding etc, this place is a great spot to spend you weekends. The sauna n cold plunge helps you recover from those strenuous activities, and before retiring to bed spend 15 mins quality time in the hot tub and you will get the best sleep ever. Propane Grill n outdoor dining arrangement made our dinner time more enjoyable. Making s’mores at the fire pit never gets old, we enjoyed every bit of it. Bunk beds, retro gaming console added to hours of fun for the lil one, Sonos Bluetooth speaker let us play tunes outside. We’d love to be back for the ski season 🤩
