Beach Glass on the Island is an ideal spot for visiting Padre Island National Seashore or Mustang Island State Park. While there are several restaurants nearby, we enjoyed staying in and cooking fresh seafood each evening! Kitchen has a good set of pots/pans, as well as a toaster oven and a crockpot. The grill was out of commission this trip, but we were able to cook everything inside. Air conditioning kept the entire house cool and it was nice to have access to the washer/dryer. The owners made us aware of a turtle release happening at PINS, it was one of the highlights of the trip! We will definitely consider staying here again when we visit North Padre!

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay. We didn't want for anything nor could we have chosen a better place to stay. The home was super clean and stocked with: bath and kitchen soaps, towels, cookwear, seasoning pantry, kuerig, fancy showers, lights with your choice of lumen, tvs in every room, you name it. They even had meat tenderizer, (handy for jellyfish stings)bug spray, and itch cream. And, the instructional binder in the living room, for cooling systems, TVs, and info on local attractions made our lives so much easier. We want to come back!

Jason, we truly appreciated your kindness, communication and offering such a beautiful condo for our 3 night stay. We have stayed numerous times at Island House Condominiums and in fact, it is the only place we ever stay. The units offer such easy access to the beach, as well as the mile+long concrete beach promenade, great for morning walks w our dog and my elderly parent. Your unit was spotless, the furniture very comfortable, and I appreciated the coffee pods and waters in the fridge when we arrived. Also, thank you for providing detergent for the new, very clean, onsite laundry facilities. It certainly came in handy after several mishaps between sand, sea and rainshowers. The staff I found remarkably helpful and friendly, esp. trying to figure out dog friendly restaurants. They assisted us with the beach canopy and chair rentals, and even helped a granny learn how to navigate TV remotes...we are old and the kids were not with us this time to help (: I hope you will allow us to visit again soon. This is our second time to stay at Barefoot Bungalow and it is always fun and perfect for our family of 5. Perfect reset after a busy fall full of work, sports, and school. Long walks on the beach with my Senior 🥹 and fun in the sun with the Littles 🎉 then cooking and hanging out at the pool….this house is well stocked with all the extras! Made cookies for Santa, cooked 3 family meals and breakfast every morning. Plenty of towels, even beach towels, chairs and toys. We had the best time!

We've stayed at this little resort before with a different host, but this time was the best experience yet. The place was super clean, check-in and check-out were so easy, and we felt genuinely welcomed. The Pac-Man machine was a fun bonus. Our daughter loves the playground ship, and the convenience of the restroom right by the pool is a huge plus. The pool is perfect for kids—she especially loves the water bucket feature! With the beach just around the corner, everything is easy and fun. She's already asking if we can go back for her birthday—and honestly, I am too. So glad we booked this spot!

I absolutely loved the spacious unit and the view was amazing. Anything we could need was at our fingertips and the kitchen was a joy to cook in. Comfy beds, roomy bathrooms, and the pool and barbeque areas were perfect. We will definitely stay there again.

Fantastic property with everything you need. Well stocked and great touches. Close to everything you need and friendly neighbors. Be prepared for stairs! We worked off our ice cream.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The location is excellent—just a short walk or quick drive to the beach, making access incredibly convenient. The pool was a huge hit with the kids, and the outdoor bathroom access was a thoughtful and practical feature. The property felt private, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing in the evenings after a day of activities. The host was responsive, accommodating, and always available if we needed anything. We would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the area, and we would gladly stay here again.
