Located only 20 minutes from the house in Mooloolaba Sea Life aquarium makes a great day out for everyone.

Australia Zoo

Home of The Crocodile Hunter, Australia Zoo would have to be one of Australia's most famous Zoos recognised both nationally and internationally.

Coolum Beach which also includes Stumers Creek is Dog Friendly. Located just down the road from the house it is the perfect walking distance. The expansive 1km beach is the perfect place to play, run and swim.

Point Arkwright

Point Arkwright has recently become dog friendly. However, it is a little further from the house (just under 5km) but is still only a 7-minute drive.

Stumers Creek

Located just over 1km from the Puppies & Pancakes house, Stumers Creek is one of the most popular and well-known places to take your dog in the Coolum area. It is both dog friendly and lead free meaning your furry friends are free to run around and enjoy themselves.

Bli Bli Watersports Complex

Bli Bli Watersports sits on 50 acres of land and consists of a wake park, aqua park and fishing park! The park also includes picnic and BBQ spots, shaded areas, an onsite cafe, licensed bar, change rooms and lockers.

Oz Ski Resort

Oz Ski is a world-class water ski facility located in Coolum with the Ski park based on a man-made freshwater lake.

Blast Aqua Park Coolum

The worlds largest aqua park, Blast Aqua Park Coolum is also known as Coolum Aqua Park is open 10 am to 4 pm on both Saturdays and Sundays (days and times do differ depending on the time of year).

Bean Head Cafe

Bean Head Cafe serves delicious food & drinks from 5:30 am - 2 pm every day.

Freddy Fuddpukka's Cafe

Located in central Coolum approximately a short 3-minute drive from the Puppies & Pancakes house is Freddy Fuddpukkas Cafe, one of our personal favourites.

Raw Energy Coolum

Raw Energy is a chain of cafes throughout Queensland (with the exception of one in New South Wales) that encourages sustainable living through clean eating. The first of all cafes to open was the Coolum one which is located 3km from the Puppies & Pancakes house and therefore is a very short 6-minute drive or 30-minute walk.

Coolum Boardwalk

Dog Friendly! The Coolum Boardwalk is a newly established coastal walk that begins just south of Coolum surf club and ends at Point Perry. This walk is one that is perfect for the whole family including the pups!

Mount Coolum

Located just a quick 10-minute drive from the Puppies and Pancakes house is the beautiful Mt Coolum. With picturesque 360º views of the Sunshine Coast, it makes the perfect hike/walk with plenty of opportunities for capturing stunning photos.
