The Peaceful Getaway is perfectly situated on a mountain. The drive up is steep in some areas, but the road system is asphalted and two-cars width, so it's a very sturdy drive for a mountain area! Winter weather is always unpredictable in the smokies. Four-Wheel drive vehicles are always recommended when traveling to any area in the smokies during winter weather conditions.

The cabin offers many amenities including: • Open living room & kitchen area • Fully stocked kitchen, with everything needed to prepare a delicious meal • Fireplace with gas logs • Large windows for taking in the views • Fully stocked coffee bar, with options for drip, pour over or pods, an espresso machine, as well as coffee grounds, coffee beans, k-cups and individually packaged cream & sugar. • Hot tub on back porch overlooking downtown Pigeon Forge • Rocking chairs and swing for relaxing on back porch • Roku TVs in living room & 1st floor bedroom with Hulu live stream access for movies & sports • Charcoal grill (guest to bring charcoal) • Pool table in loft area • Vintage board game classics, including Scrabble, Monopoly, Clue, Sorry & Yahtzee, and chess/checkers set NOTE: Upon booking, guest will receive a rental agreement to be signed and returned to host prior to check-in.
