A cozy place to visit or nap. Note the dropleaf table, which is a great place to play games or do a puzzle (or could be used for expanded seating if needed - extra chairs in lower level). Creek just outside window & great gurgling nature soundtrack.
Meditate, enjoy the rocking chair, read, play games, spin some good records, watch the birds. Melanie's parents rebuilt this rocking chair when they lived in Los Angeles in 1968, and her mom sewed the cushions in the 60s!

Vintage radio and record player. We highly recommend local Grand Marais radio station 90.7FM WTIP. We also provide a guitar, ukelele, and a bunch of other musical instruments (in the cabinets by the dining table).
Vintage sink with a view of Sawmill Dome peeking through the spruce forest
