This property is a self check in property. The door code will be provided to you the day of check in.

House Rules
- Behaviour which is detrimental to the property or neighbours will not be tolerated
- No additional guests/visitors (without prior permission) and any approved visitors must leave the premises by 10pm
- Smoking is NOT permitted in the house or near open doors or windows. If you smoke outside, butts must be disposed of in the external rubbish bin after being fully extinguished.
- No loud noise
- Wash, dry and put away any used dishes
- No Pets allowed.
- Do not disclose the door code to anyone - it is for guests during this stay only
- Turn off all heaters, air conditioners and electrical appliances prior to leaving the house.
- No Food or Drinks in the bedrooms
- This is home for holidays, stopovers or use as a workers cottage, not a venue for events and parties. If you have a specific need for an event it must be discussed prior to booking and approved IN WRITING.
- If you are staying on a Thursday night, please put the external rubbish bins out on the footpath for collection (collected early Friday morning) and bring them in as soon as possible after collection
- Only the beds booked for guests will be made up and all other rooms will be locked off.
- If you have any issues with anything at all during your stay, please contact us immediately to ensure we have the opportunity to rectify it for you to ensure you have the best possible experience. If there is no contact, we assume that everything was satisfactory
Check Out
- Do a general tidy,
- wipe down the kitchen bench tops, put all dishes away
- Take the rubbish out to the external bins.
- Do not strip the beds. Please leave this for the cleaner. Stripping beds makes it harder for the cleaner and an additional fee will be charged.
- The cleaning fee charged covers the general cleaning of the house and washing of linen etc. It does not cover excessive cleaning of the house left in a mess - this will be charged extra.
Note: Prices charged/quoted are based on 2 people sharing a room. The standard rooms opened are as follows;
1 or 2 people booked - 1 bedroom open
3 or 4 people booked - 2 bedrooms open
5 or 6 people booked - 3 bedrooms open
7 or 8 people booked - 4 bedrooms open
If additional rooms need to be unlocked to accommodate other sleeping arrangements there will be an extra charge of $25 per room (per stay).
Once your booking is confirmed, a Booking Agreement will be emailed to you which will need to be completed and returned a minimum of 7 days prior to your check in (earlier is preferred to ensure we have the house set up appropriately). Check in details will not be provided if this hasn't been returned on time and there will be no refund. In short you will forfeit your booking.
Breaches of the Terms and Conditions will result in immediate eviction with loss of security deposit and no refund for remaining nights of the booking.
Events in Town
When there is limited accommodation in town due to major events, the house will be rented on a room by room basis. This means you will have exclusive use of the bedroom you have booked (with a lock so only you are able to access it) and the kitchen, loungeroom and bathroom will be shared areas. In these instances, to book you will need to go to the Quick Book page on our direct website (https://www.shorttermrentalswa.com.au), from the drop down menu find "Southern Cross - Book by Room" (there will be an option for each of the bedrooms available at the time).

Refundable Damage Deposit
The security deposit must will be charged upon booking. Upon check out and once the property has been checked, if all is ok the full amount will be refunded to the credit card used during your booking. Any damages, missing items, extra guests or excess cleaning required will result in your deposit not being fully refunded.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel more than 30 days prior to check in date, 50% of your payment will be refunded.
If you cancel 30 days or less prior to check in date, there are no refunds.
