Year-round Port Aransas has something for everyone! There is abundant sun, surf and-sand if you just want to get away from it all. If you are lucky, watch a turtle hatchling release at the Padre Island National Seashore during the summer. Port A is THE place for fishing - in the bay, offshore or from the jetties - you are sure to go home with some fish tales! For the nature lover, the birds here are incredible - seeing a squadron of Pelicans dive for their meals, or the pink of Roseate Spoonbills never gets old for us! If you want to go shelling on a secluded island, check out San Jose Island - accessible by ferry from Port A. For the art lover - the Port Aransas Art Center holds classes and has gorgeous local art available for purchase. Relaxing on the beach or adventuring in town, you wont be bored in Port Aransas!
