A beautiful, spacious, well equipped house located in the historic heart of Cape May. Marlin House has 4,200 sq ft of living space incorporating many unique features as well the modern amenities needed to have a wonderful vacation. The house is located next door to the Emlen Physick Estate on historic Washington Street, convenient for all the main attractions in Cape May.
The house has dual zone Central a/c, high speed internet and wi-fi, Roku/Sling enabled televisions in all bedrooms and family room. The house has been decorated and furnished to a high standard. There are six large bedrooms (two with King beds, three with Queens and one with four single beds), four full bathrooms, the living room can be converted to additional sleeping space with a comfortable Murphy Chest Queen bed.The first floor includes a spacious entrance hall, an attractive living room with gas fire and comfortable seating and a beautiful dining room with a table that can easily be extended to seat 14. The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped with two ovens, dishwasher, microwave, French door refrigerator and breakfast bar. The kitchen flows into the family room where you can relax and play one of our many board games or adjourn to the sun room and have a drink or read a book whilst enjoying the views of the landscaped rear garden. The first floor also includes a full bathroom. There are two front porches to sit and watch the world go by on Washington Street.The second floor includes the extra large master bedroom, adjoining bathroom with walk in shower and jacuzzi bath as well as walk in closet. Three further beautifully presented bedrooms, a full bathroom and separate laundry room provide ample space for large families or groups. The lower level includes a Queen bedroom, a larger bedroom with two singles and a trundle bed plus a full bathroom.
There is ample parking for four cars plus a garage to store bikes/beach equipment and free street parking. The garage is equipped with a NEMA 14-50 receptacle for EV charging. The rear of the house provides privacy and a brick paved patio with grill and outdoor seating for 12 people plus an enclosed outdoor hot/cold shower. The house is equipped with electronic locks, so no worries about losing keys. 10 Commercial beach tags are included for the use of guests. A beach box is included with the rental and is located at Jefferson Street beach. Pets considered and restricted to one dog only.

We originated in Norfolk, England and moved to PA in 2001. We enjoyed visiting Cape May and in 2018 were lucky enough to purchase this house. We love to spend time at the house with our family and friends but also enjoy renting it out for other to spend time in the house and town.

House Rules
No parties or prom events, no smoking, house is in a historic residential area which is covered by a Cape May ordinance requiring noise to be kept to a minimum between 10pm to 8am. The house must be left clean and tidy.
Payment Policy
50% deposit required at time of booking, remaining 50% plus $800 security deposit required 45 days prior to arrival.

Refundable Damage Deposit
$800 security deposit will be refunded within 14 days assuming the house is left clean and tidy with no damage.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation needs to be confirmed in writing. Cancellation 60 days or more prior to start of rental will receive full refund less $200 cancellation fee. Cancellation after 60 days prior to start of rental will not be eligible to a refund unless the property is relet, if the property is relet a refund will be given less $200 cancellation fee.
