Beautiful old Dutch towns with charming architecture are only a few minutes away by car, e.g. Medemblik - 5 km - old and new sailing harbour - Hoorn 20 km - Enkuizen - 25 km - with harbour and Zuiderzee Museum worth seeing - or even Amsterdam 60 km, indescribably beautiful. For children there is a large private playground with a kiosk within walking distance of our small children's playground, free admission for Vislust guests. Coffee terrace and many highlights for the kids, such as trampolines, large slides, wooden railway, swings and and and - which can be used free of charge by our small + large guests. Three kilometres away an Indor swimming pool with water slide - Indore playground in Medemblik - for children up to 16 years approx. 5 km away. The nearest harbour can be found here - historic train station to take the historic train to Hoorn and the long dyke with jetty for boat trips. In Enkuizen there is another large Indore swimming pool directly adjacent to a fine sandy beach by the sea. Spokjesland, also in Enkuizen, for children up to the age of 12, is a popular attraction for young families or grandparents with grandchildren. Holiday home "Isabella" has a living and dining area with kitchenette, a bathroom and two bedrooms. The living area is equipped for 4 persons and has two flat screen televisions (one of them in the bedroom) with satellite connection (German programmes) The building is located on a square with its own jetty directly at the house to the lake "Groote Vliet" and it is not visible from other neighbours.
