The Press
The Press is tucked at the end of a strip shopping center about 9 miles from The Sand Bucket, but another one that is definitely worth the drive. Owned an operated by a local family, it is an outstanding casual, small eatery with a great selection of craft beers, wine, and simple fresh homemade American food. THE SAND BUCKET AT SEASIDE IS LOCATED WITHIN THE GATED CONDO COMMUNITY OF SEASIDE AT ANASTASIA AT 245 ATLANTIS CIRCLE, ST. AUGUSTINE FL - DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM ST. JOHNS COUNTY PIER AND PARK. Surfing in St. Augustine is a very popular water activity. If you have never surfed, take the opportunity to contact one of the local surf schools or surf shops below and get hooked up. They offer surfboard rentals or you can purchase one. Most have the option of a single lesson or a group lesson so you won't feel like you are the only one that doesn't get up on the first wave. They also offer surf camps during the summer for the kids and they love it.

Nalu's Tropical Takeout - A St. Augustine Food Truck
Let's start with the oldest food truck in St. Augustine. Nalu's opened in 2002 and is still going strong with some of the best burritos and tacos around served up with Hawaiian inspired sauces. You will find Nalu's parked in the parking lot of The Surf Station at 1020 Anastasia Blvd. near the entrance to Anastasia State Park and across from The Alligator Farm. They open around 11 am, close at Sunset and are closed on Tuesdays.
Breakfast, Anyone?
St. Augustine has many great restaurants and those that serve breakfast shouldn't be missed. We try to hit at least one new one on each stay at The Sand Bucket at Seaside, but with so many to choose from we can't eat at all of them. These are some of our favorites and some that we often hear that we need to try. These are in no particular order and please note that some are close by and some are in the downtown area if you prefer a later breakfast or brunch.
