Check-In Instructions

If you arrive after 11:30 A.M. but before 4:00 P.M., you may enjoy the dock. Do not ask the cleaner for permission to enter the home for any reason.
We love to offer early check-in, if possible, but gratis early check-in is not guaranteed and cannot be requested until two days before check-in. If you want a guarantee of early check-in, we might be able to lock it in with payment of an additional fee.
Early check-in can rarely, if ever, be offered in-season.

Home Access

You will receive the door code shortly before your vacation begins. Your login code will usually be the last four numbers of the phone number you used on the rental agreement. To use the code:

TO UNLOCK:

From the outside, press the Home logo and enter your four number code;
From the inside, turn the thumb-turn.

TO LOCK:

From the outside, press the Lock logo;
From the inside, turn the thumb-turn.

Do not engage the security alarm during your visit.
The alarm might bing every time the door is opened, even when the alarm is not armed.

Requested Notifications

The day before check in - Notify Kate of your estimated time of arrival.
When an hour away - Text Kate at (540) 907-2353 to ensure that all is set for your arrival.
After inspection - Once you've inspected Osprey Landing, text Kate to let her know:

Everything meets your approval
or Something needs attention.
or You have a question.

Problems at Osprey Landing should be reported to Kate immediately.

Parking

Three vehicles can park in the driveway and parking pad. If you have additional cars, plan to park them on Dovey Road. Do not park off the driveway.

The garage is not available for your use.

The drive is steep. Plan to leave your boat trailer at the marina where you launch the boat or on Dovey Road.

Amy and Ezra bought their second home, Osprey LKA, in 2020 and asked Kate to manage it. Kate has enjoyed Lake Anna since 2000 and lived there since 2010. Kate manages two other Lake Anna vacation rentals.
