Check-in Procedures
The door entry has a key pad. Type in the door access code (provided via text prior to arrival) and the door will be unlocked. To leave the door unlock you can turn the lock inside the door to the vertical position and the door will remain unlocked. To lock the door before leaving turn the lock inside to the horizontal position. There is a house key hanging from the message board inside the entry if you prefer to use a key for the remainder of your stay.
You will find a binder with information about the house and the area on the coffee table in the living room. Should you have any other questions during your stay, feel free to contact us.
Check In:
• After 3pm
- Passes to the recreation center are located on the blackboard by the door. These are needed each time you use the recreation center. (Bring towels for the pool but please make sure you return them to the unit, pool towels are in the master bedroom do not use the white bath towels for the pool/lake)
- We ask all guests to go through the home and report any dissatisfaction within the first 24 hours to us.
- Turn on water to the washing machine. Valves are located directly to the left of the washer/dryer.
- *if main water is off, the switch is located in the closet in the hallway above the hot water heater.

*Coffee maker is a combination Keurig and coffee pot, there should be reusable filters in the cabinet next to the fridge or you can bring your own k-cups. Please don't throw away reusable filter.
Summer: Portable A/C units are located in the closets as well as window fans, please make sure the A/C units are vented out the windows before turning them on. The A/C units will not cool the entire condo but will cool the bedrooms in the evening.
Summer Wristband Policy
It appears previous guests, guests from other resorts and locals have discovered our wonderful little beach and lake at Deer Park. This is causing overcrowding at the beach and creating an insurance liability for the owners at Deer Park. Therefore, Deer Park has implemented a wristband policy for the summer. All guests over the age of 10 will be required to wear a wristband to access the beaches and tennis courts.
How to access wristbands:
1. Bring the Recreation Center access card located on the blackboard inside our unit with a photo id to the front desk. The front desk has your name and number of guests you registered.
2. The front desk will check you in and give each guest (over 10) staying in the unit a wrist band for the day. Wristbands will not be provided to guests and friends not staying in the unit.
Wristbands MUST be returned by the end of the day or you will be charged a $30 fee per wristband.
Winter: Do not turn heat down below 55 degrees in the winter. NOTE: Please make sure you open the flu to the fire place before starting a fire. Push the knob above the fire place in and to the right to open the flu. Wood on the first floor to the right of the stairs is a community wood pile. Help yourself to wood from the first floor for the fireplace.
