I was born, lived, and worked in New Zealand. I am retired and live with my husband in the best place in the world, Hokitika, New Zealand. My children are grown and I spend my time travelling, hosting visitors and getting out in the hills with Hoki Hikers.

I have always been very fond of tramping and while the more adventurous walks are a bit beyond me now,I still challenge myself. I also love gardening and reading.

My husband still teaches technology and enjoys tramping and karate.
