A 4th generation Montreater, I wanted to give our children the opportunity to experience summers and off-season weekends in this beautiful place. We live less than 3 hours away and come up often to stay in our nearby family home. In order to have more flexibility, my husband and I purchased our own cottage in 2013, completely renovated it, and gave it a new life. After completing that renovation, I knew I would enjoy bringing Boardwalk (formerly First Place or The Burlington) back to life as well. It's been very rewarding watching a beautiful old cottage start new again and we wanted to share that with others who love the charm of a Montreat cottage as much as we do!
