Off the Hook - at the Lake - Sylvan Lake

Driveway parking in front of the unit  (License Plate # required) for Registration. Street parking across the street. Boat trailer parking along 50th Avenue, one block from the unit. Ask us for directions. Additional Visitor Parking available (License # required). 

Damage deposit collected to ensure compliance with local and Provincial regulations regarding damage, litter, parking, smoking, noise, 9-1-1, etc. We may apply the fee to offset the cost of damage or breakage to items in or on the property, or for violation of our Unreasonable Usage Policy or any policy that we are subject to by providers or the HOA. Damage to be assessed within 5 days of checkout and verified by photographs where possible. Fines and fees assessed within 30 days where possible. 

Access codes will be provided during the 24h before your check in time. We will send the Front Door unlock code to your email or SMS device provided during the Reservation process. You will unlock the door yourself and let yourself in. 

Unless other arrangements have been made, you will be met within one hour of check in by a Host who will orient you to the property. For security reasons we will confirm your ID and the Reservation details with you during Check In. We may imprint or scan your credit card or request payment at that time, if we have not already done so. 

Failure to comply with Check In processes may invalidate or cancel your reservation 

Kindly provide your vehicle license plate information as soon as possible so that the HOA can be alerted and you will not be ticketed or towed. Parking is exclusively for use of our Guests. If there is any issue with parking during your stay please notify us immediately. 

This is a completely self catering accommodation. Please bring your own children's materials and cribs. Due to COVID 19 requirements we feel we cannot provide these items adequately sanitized for you. 

The Lake is a great place to meet new people, make great memories and above all have fun! 

Occupancy limits are enforced by the HOA. 

Home is where the heart is.... please treat this space like your own home. Please be a good neighbour. Observe and respect quiet hours between 11:00pm and 8:00am daily. Its the law. 

To ensure the safety and security of the Property and Guests this unit is provisioned with appropriate security measures which may include but are not limited to video and audio recording, or other measures considered reasonable and appropriate. Tampering with or damage to security systems shall be cause for immediate cancellation of the reservation without refund.   

Everything you need is here. All dishware is washed and disinfected before Check in to ensure compliance with COVID19 protocols. 

The BBQ is Natural Gas/ Propane. please TURN OFF after use. No live Fires or Fire Pit is permitted. 

Off the Hook is a SMOKE FREE space. 

Please do not ignite or smoke any substance on or within 5 m of the premises. Violation of this rule will result in cancellation of the reservation, forfeiture of the damage deposit and additional cleaning fees, as well as possible prosecution.

Smoking (including Cannabis) in public areas is prohibited throughout the public areas of Sylvan Lake by Municipal Bylaw.

Our comfortable, clean, fully renovated condo is the perfect escape for your next Alberta vacation! . 

Whether you plan to fish, swim, boat, snowmobile, waterski or sunbathe - every season is the right season to enjoy this year round location.

Near everything. Walk everywhere. Bring your bike or scooter. We are a few blocks away from the Waterfront Boardwalk area and just a minute or two away from the Marina. Its quiet enough to be just right but close enough to be perfect. Life IS better at the Lake. 

Sylvan Lake is the FASTEST GROWING Tourist destination in Alberta. There's lots to do and see and the summer weather is amazing! Spectacular sunny days, gorgeous sunsets, sailboats, water sports, great food, sunshine, fishing, swimming, boating.... 

Get your life "Off the Hook". Join us at the Lake this year. 

2 bedrooms, and one bathroom, plus a Queen Sized Hide A Bed provides lots of room for up to 5 guests. Fully furnished with full laundry on site. Please feel free to make reasonable use of the laundry facilities. Appropriate, hypo-allergenic detergent is provided.

DETAILS/ AMENITIES

This is a completely Self Catering accommodation. Linens, beach towels, dishware and some cookware are provided. Food/ Restaurant and Catering Services are not. Groceries, excellent wine store, bars restaurants and fun are all nearby. Park your car, kick back and relax.   

Due to evolving Covid-19 regulations only a limited amount of household products can be safely provided. Please provide your own food, condiments, specialized containers, cosmetics, cleaning and personal hygiene products.

We perform a thorough disinfect and clean between guests and have a minimum 24 hr window between reservations. Weekly cleaning service is provided but we regret that we cannot provide "Housekeeping" or "Room Service" type assistance. Emergency calls for lock out or key assistance will be billed at aa rate of $150 minimum. 

Check IN/OUT

Guests will usually be met at check in by a Host who will perform verification and orientation to the property. This is done at Check In or within a reasonable time after arrival.  The HOA requires a copy of your vehicle license information and ID for security purposes. If you have not already done so during the reservation process then this will be performed at Check-In time.  

On site driveway parking and visitor parking if necessary, by registration. You can park your on the driveway or on the street, but be aware that street parking is max 2 hours. Be smart and park on your assigned driveway. If you need more parking ask us and we will arrange Visitor Parking for you.

Check OUT times vary by type of stay, Please check to be sure of your time. The door lock code is changed automatically on departure. Please be sure to take all your personal items with you. We cannot be responsible for items lost or left behind.   

BOATS/ MARINA

Access available for boat slip and launch but MUST be arranged in advance. There is NO PUBLIC LAUNCH nearby. Fees for launch start at $30/day and must be obtained from the HOST. To ensure safety and security of equipment and personnel, only residents and authorized registered Guests of residents may use the launch. Rental boat and equipment businesses in the area provide limited access and equipment.
