This centrally located historic home is your 3 bed, 1 bath getaway in beautiful Siskiyou County. It is a five minute walk from the San Francisco Chronicle-featured Denny Bar eatery, the Etna Brewery, Grain Street Bakery, and more. 12 miles down the road is famous Five Mary's Burgerhouse. Rest, escape, and enjoy the delicious food and peace that Etna, CA has to offer. The kitchen is well-equipped, beds comfy, and the yard offers opportunities for a game of croquet and the tallest trees on Main.
This historic icehouse features original, much thicker than normal walls which used to keep ice for the historic mining, timber, and farming town cold year round. The bedrooms are comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is ready for you to cook a meal with ample counter space and all cooking amenities you'd need, and the back deck is lovely for a morning cup of coffee overlooking a beautiful field where Etna's horse races used to take place.
The home is decorated in a eclectic style with many handmade pillows, duvets, and curtains as the owner is a skilled sewist.
