HOUSE RULES As a guest to our Airbnb, everyone is expected to follow the following rules. Checkin – 2pm Checkout – 10am Courtesy late checkout is often available but only with hosts written approval. Guests staying past their checkout time may be subject to a $100 fee as this may prevent our housekeeping team from getting the home ready for our next guest. If your late checkout exceeds two hours, we will charge you for an additional day. This does not award you possession of the property for an additional day, it is a penalty assessed for holding up our next guest and preventing our housekeeping team from doing their jobs. This additional day charge is the BASE RATE of the room without discounts that may have been applied When Checking-out: • Remove bed linens and place in laundry room with dirty towels. • Place any remaining dirty dishes in the sink. • Turn off all lights. • Make sure the fridge/freezer doors are closed. • Please take your trash with you. There are no municipal services here. Trash bags are provided under the sink and collection sites are listed in the House Manual. If the house is left damaged or dirty, in a condition beyond what a reasonable, courteous, guest, would leave the home in, an additional $100 cleaning fee will be assessed for each additional hour incurred by our housekeeper. Broken, damaged, or missing items will result in additional charges. If you have any concerns, please contact us immediately. We will address any concerns you have and if necessary, we will come and fix the problem immediately. No smoking of any kind is allowed inside. This leaves the house in a condition not suitable for the next guest. Please smoke outside and do not discard the butts on the ground. A daily rate of $200 will be applied for smoking inside. Please avoid using regular hand/bath towels with all skin products. Makeup wipes are available. They are located under bathroom sinks. Any makeup/foundation, face medications/creams, and tanning products that stain our regular towels will result in additional charges. The occupancy limit for this property is 8, not to exceed 6 adults. Only guests listed on the reservation may occupy the home. Any unauthorized guests will be asked to vacate immediately. No parties or events. No extreme noises between 10pm-8am. Noise carries on the water, please be respectful of neighbors. No illegal activities and weapons of any kind. Do not re-arrange indoor and outdoor furniture. Reasonable accommodations may be made in writing. Often consumables such as condiments or snacks are available for our guests. These are free and please indulge yourself to your desire. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests' discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables or any allergies that the guest might have. As a family home, you may help yourself to our pantry. We try to keep it stocked so a weary traveler can arrive and make a hot meal. All we ask is if you use it, please replace it. Swimming, kayaking and overall use of the River is at your own risk. Life jackets are provided for guests to use. We do not assume any responsibility for any accidents. We are a dog friendly home. All fur baby guests must be approved prior to arrival. We allow for dogs under 40 pounds. Pet fee is $25/day for 1 dog and $35/day for 2 dogs. Please keep pets off the furniture. Any house rules violation is ground for immediate termination of your stay.
