--------- THE DETAILS ----------

THE HOME – You enter your home into the living area where you can enjoy the sunshine and cross breeze and the slider provides instant access to the outdoors (an outdoor lover’s dream). The living area opens to a generous eat-in kitchen with granite counters, stainless appliances and a table for family meals, games and more. There is a slider in the living area that leads to a brand new, spacious deck with a patio set and umbrella for 6. The deck and it’s view is a perfect spot for relaxing with your morning coffee and planning your day or possibly a relaxing afternoon with a good book. The deck is also the perfect spot to enjoy dinner prepared on the gas grill and afterwards watch the sun descend over the pond while enjoying your favorite beverage.
The home is pleasantly decorated in an understated seaside décor with soothing and serene coastal colors. There are many natural fabrics and some vintage distressed woods. The home has three bedrooms all with hardwood flooring and one full bath (tub/shower combination). Your Vacation Home is part of a family-run duplex. Yet it feels like a stand-alone cottage as you do not share any common space, or amenities with your neighbor and the outdoor spaces are at the ends of each home for true sense of privacy. And of course separate entrances for each vacation home.

THE LOCATION – Dennis is located in “The Heart of the Cape” and is brimming with an endless supply of summer activities that your whole group is sure to love. West Dennis is home to the ever-popular, mile long West Dennis Beach. Here in West Dennis you will find a wonderful mix of grand historic homes and waterfront estates to simple, cozy beach cottages. Of, course your trip wouldn’t be complete without a day (or several) spent at the beach and there are 16 public beaches in town including two fresh water beaches. Dennis is one of only a few towns to enjoy both bay side and ocean beaches.
THE DECK - The deck overlooks a peaceful wooded lot where you can switch off from the world for awhile. It has a peek-a-boo view of tranquil Kelley’s Pond. It is also a perfect spot to enjoy the afternoon sun, or pop up the table umbrella and relax with a good book (one that you might find in our little library) or simply put your feet up and enjoy the scenery.

THE BEACH - The beach is always a part of a Cape Cod vacation and West Dennis Beach is your closest beach to The PondView. It is a 4 minute drive (just under 1 mi.) West Dennis beach is a mile long stretch of easily accessible waterfront. It also has ample parking that stretches all along the waters front. When you park the sand is simply one step up, making this beach perfect for families with young children and those that may have a mobility issue. You can join the many locals who are daily walkers morning and evening along this mile long paved area set back from the shore.
You won't have to travel far to sample additional beaches. You will also be just minutes to several other popular Nantucket Sound beaches and don’t forget Dennis has 16 public beaches to enjoy including the wonderful beaches on the bay.

DINING CHOICES - You will have a myriad of dining choices from family fare to fine dining. From The PondView you will be within walking distance (.5 mi) to 2 water view restaurants and minutes away to several more. Here is just a sample of some of the more popular Dennis summer spots, water view restaurants and beach bars....they include but not limited to ..........The Sand Bar, The Summer Shanty, The Lighthouse Inn, Sundancers, Clancy's, The Ocean House Restaurant & Beach Bar, The Cleat and Anchor, The Oyster Company, The Riverway Lobster House, Chapin's Beach Bar, The Red Nun, Sun Dancers. And the list goes on and on……….

ACTIVITIES – There is something for everyone. Active vacationer will find lots to do nearby ….. Kayaking and Stand Up Paddle along the Bass River is just down the road. Nearby West Dennis beach is favorite amount Windsurfers and Kiteboarders. You will also be within minutes of several locations where you can take a ferry to the islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Cyclists can enjoy a day on the Cape Cod Rail Trail (CCRT) is just minutes away. The CCRT is a 25 mile long cycling trail from Yarmouth to Wellfleet. The trail will take you past lakes, cranberry bogs and other classic Cape Cod scenic vistas. And if tee times are on your mind.......don't forget that we also have two great public golf courses in town and both offer outdoor dining. Also Blue Rock GC is just 2 miles away. Take a short drive ( 5-10 min) to several parks and nature trails. There are also several public tennis courts in town. If you have a boat to bring along there is a public town dock (3 mins away) where you can launch your boat. Sportfishing charters can be closeby leave from both East Dennis and Saquatucket Harbors. And of course there are a load of family fun activities (see below).

FAMILY FUN/CHILDREN - Family fun is at ever present here..
