Overview

The Bear House features three stories of living space! It is a newly renovated Victorian style cabin with new vinyl plank flooring on first and second level, new paint, and upgraded appliances. The home features a gas fireplace and central heat throughout, but all bedrooms also feature electric fireplaces for added ambiance and a true mountain feel. Lots of activities for kids of all ages - games, puzzles, coloring, building blocks and of course, Legos!

(Main) 2nd Floor Living Space: The main living space is on the second level, with open concept kitchen/living room, island seating area, coffee bar and outside deck . Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, mixing bowls, a toaster, blender, crockpot and more. Dishwasher in the kitchen! New gas barbeque on back patio ready for grilling with a newly renovated seating area. Enjoy the queen sized sofa bed with upgraded memory foam mattress for ultimate comfort.

3rd Floor: The top level features two large bedrooms and a full bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a Queen bed and large closet. Bedroom 2 has a twin bunk bed and single twin bed. Ceiling fans and TVs with firesticks in both rooms.

1st Floor: On the bottom floor there is an additional seating area with fold out twin bed with upgraded mattress, TV with firestick and Wii game system and games. Attached three quarter bathroom has just been fully remodeled with brand new stand in corner shower.

New to Arrowbear? Arrowbear Lake is a small, quiet community located about 2 miles north of Running Springs, CA. Named Arrowbear Lake due to its location half way between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear, this community truly offers access to all the sites and attractons the San Bernardino Mountains has to offer. Enjoy our seasonal lake which is stocked for fishing in the summer months and the multitude of hiking and biking trails throughout the community. Only 4 miles to Snow Valley, 5 miles to Green Valley Lake, 7 miles to SkyPark at Santa’s Village, 10 miles to Lake Arrowhead, and 15 miles to Big Bear. Enjoy all the mountain has to offer!

Bedroom 2 has a twin bed and twin bunk beds! Also has an electric fireplace and ceiling fan. TV with firestick also included

There is a sofa bed in the living room with upgraded memory foam mattress.

Downstairs Den

1 sofa bed

Downstairs in a separate sitting area with fold out twin bed, with upgraded memory foam mattress. A 3/4 bathroom is attached. Separate entrance!

House Rules

A rental agreement will be emailed to guest after booking is confirmed. A signed rental agreement and copy of photo ID will be required prior to check in. Photo ID must match credit card used for the transaction

Refundable Damage Deposit

Your security deposit will be refunded to you on the day following checkout. Part or all of your deposit could be used for any damage to the home that occurs during your stay, or to pay for additional cleaning following your stay. We ask that guests wash all dishes, pots and pans, wipe down counters, bag and throw away trash and pick up after pets. We will take care of all the rest! Thank you for helping us keep the home beautiful

Cancellation Policy

All bookings are refundable within 48 hours of booking. After that, no refunds are allowed.

Notes

Guests are expected to leave the house in the condition it was received, which includes washing dishes (or starting dishwasher), wiping down counters, removing bagged trash and placing in trash bin at the side of the house. Please pick up after pets. Beds should be left unmade, sofa beds left out or cushions off couch. Used towels to be left on the bathroom floor. Thank you for making sure the heater and all electronics and lights are off when you leave.
Please be sure to carry chains in the winter months - November thru March. Always check road conditions before coming up. We will ensure the driveway is plowed prior to your arrival but you will be responsible to clearing any snow that accumilates during your stay (to get your car out). You can borrow our shovel! Sorry, no refunds for crazy weather or road closures, unless all roads leading to home are closed. Drive safe!
Please use caution around stairs and walkways, especially when icy or wet.
