Quiet Time – The homeowners association enforces a quiet time from 10pm-8am. What this means is after 10pm, please do not play any loud music and keep the noise levels down as to not disturb the neighbors. The homeowners association uses the local sheriff to enforce the noise levels, and you could be fined if you are disturbing the neighbors after 10pm. Do not feed animals – Please do not feed the wildlife, especially the ducks, geese, swans and chipmunks. They may seem nice but they are very mean and will bite! Goose droppings look like the size of a small dog. There is a pooper scooper under the back deck if you find any droppings, please pick them up and put them in the wooded lot to the north. Lawn Sprinklers – The lawn sprinklers are set to automatically run at 2am to about 4am. Aqua Blower – There are blowers attached to the dock that are set to run during the day. It creates a current to keep any weeds, algae or silt from accumulating in the beach area. Please do not play with the blower as it can turn on at any time. Lawn furniture– There are several brightly colored lawn chairs under the deck available for your use, along with two on the front porch if needed. Please put them back under the deck or front porch prior to leaving for the week. Water toys– There are sand toys, canoe, kayak and paddleboard for your use. In the lower level there are also lawn darts and corn hole boards. There are lifejackets hanging under the deck. Please hang the lifejackets back up so they will dry. Please keep the water toys off the lawn and either on the sand or under the deck so they don’t kill the lawn. Please keep the lawn darts and corn hole boards inside when not being used. Fishing – Please do not fish in front of the sandy beach area. We don’t want anything to snag and leave a hook in the bottom of the swimming area. Parking – There is parking for at least 5 cars on the concrete. Please do not park on the grass. Also do not drive on the lawn, especially between the house and garage area where the septic tank is. Air Conditioning – Please do not turn the thermostat in the hallway below 72 degrees. The unit will not run if any of the doors or windows are open. If the air conditioning won’t stay at your set temperature, please go around and check all the doors and windows are closed tight.
